Sending messages, I'm getting "Not Sent" / unable to send...

And people trying to message me get "sending..."

And SMS relay totally crapped out last night.

Love the new features but it's way too buggy right now.

Going to go back to 7.1.2!

Working kinda slow

So I just updated my first gen mini to iOS 8 GM and notice that my iPad works slow when double tapping the home button it always take about a second and a half to go to app switcher I've tried removing the recent contacts but nothing happens its slow. Its annoying bc knowing that this will be the final version of iOS 8 that will be coming out less than a week now kinda sucks. hoping for a fast update and fix on this Apple. Maybe a 8.0.1 update after the Sept. 17 release?

Is there a wiki for this?

I can no longer turn off the flashlight by hitting the camera button.

Timer homescreen bug is still there for UK users choosing to use 12 hour time, still displays 00:00 when timer is running making it unusable when cooking, ect. This has been there since iOS 6, having made numerous bug reports to Apple and also logging the bug during the iOS 8 beta and Apple asking me wether the bug had been fixed with every beta release in iOS 8... still not fixed.

This GM build is old and they probably do have an improved version.

The GM was compiled on August 20. The promotional images for iOS 8 have a new iBooks icon, and since iBooks is a built in app, it can't change without a software update. Right now, it's the same old iBooks icon in GM.

Unfortunately we've seen promotional images not match up exactly against the reality before. That said, hopefully there will be an update of some sort when the final is actually out.

GM stands for Gold Master and is the version being installed on all the new iPhones. Part of the reason why it was dated a while ago, so they could install it. I could see a bug fix release being issued early on though.

I think they're gonna issue 8.0.1 on day 1 of the iPhone 6 launch, like how they did it for the 5s last year. There are a decent amount of bugs in the GM that they need to work out.

Also... iPhone 5... Messages, it won't load old messages. I have a conversation that's been going with friends for months and it will only load just a few hours back no matter how many times I scroll up.

iPad Air seems to load once then gets hung up on loading a second time when scrolling up again.

Hey guys, any of you having problems with emails ? it seem I'm not getting notified of incoming emails.

Yep I have this too, I'll suddenly get notified about loads of emails that all came though up to an hour prior to the time I get notified of them :-/

----------

I had an issue this morning where I disabled my alarm last night yet it still woke me up this morning! Not sure if others have seen this?

I've had a number of apps on my iPad Air suddenly only fill half the screen, as though I were using an iPhone 6 Plus - only it's the top half of the screen being used, not the bottom.

Seems to be most common with Skype. I have to force quit the app and relaunch it to fix it.

Is anyone else having UI problems with Safari? There's a bug on my end with the pull down where I can barely see the "Request desktop version" feature. I'm running the GM on a 16gb 5s, by the way. I just want to know if I should consider another clean install.

Users please send a lot bugs report we don't want more features before all bugs fixed.
I want the smooth like iOS 6 since iOS 7 have a lot of bugs in iOS.
Apple please fix the bugs!!!!

I seem to be having issues with Bluetooth and my car. With iOS 7 I could hook my phone up to my car and make and receive calls as you'd expect. Now when I make or receive a call, the Audio will only come through my phone and not the car. Also when I receive calls it says they are coming from myself and not the actual caller :-/

Having the exact same problem, have you found a solution.
Says connected, but when making a call it is only through the handset, even though it says car on handset.

Hi there! Yes I was able to sort this by resetting the factory settings in my car and deleting the Bluetooth connection to my car from my phone. I then reconnected the phone to the car and left it for 10 minutes and it now works! No idea what the problem was. Hope this works for you :)

Anyone having problems with EarPods? My mute/play and volume buttons don't seem to be working after updating, where as they're working fine with my MacBook Pro

Mine are working perfectly fine. Even in third party apps.

Scrolling in Safari is smooth for me.

I was surprised this bug had not been fixed yet. It worked great on the original iOS 7 for me, then after the first update it was broken ever since. This is on my 5, 5s, iPad mini and mini retina.

Countdown in the app works fine and the alarm sounds. But the home screen countdown always reads 00:00 if using the 12hr clock. 24hr clock works fine.

Might be a YouTube bug but didn't happen in ios 7.x.x. When you watch a video and then go back to the main app, the content overlaps the titlebar.

Yeah I see this too. I imagine YouTube will release an update to fix this in the next few weeks :)
