Oh, Lucky!

Mine still says at ups mail innovations:

Tracking information unavailable at this time, please check back later for additional information.

That means that UPS hasn't handed it off to USPS yet.

Mine was shipped Friday and Sunday I got a notice that USPS had it, then blamo today I got it since yesterday was veterans day.

I haven't done a lot with it yet so I can't say. For 100 bucks and never having to upgrade again with the iMac I'd say its worth it even if (right now) the changes are not noticeable.

It'll come in your mail box (not fedex or ups unless you paid for better shipping). So the post office will hold all your mail (once the mailbox gets too full).

Could someone please explain why 4GB RAM did absolutely nothing for my Geekbench?

Scored a 2932 and previously dipped into the 3040 with only 2GB RAM.

Because more RAM does not change the speed of your CPU

Having NOT enough RAM however, slows the machine down when you are using multiple programs or large programs, so that the OS is forced to move swap files on and off the hard drive. More RAM = fewer hard drive accesses.

So the trick is to have enough RAM.

It's like saying "Taking my foot off the brake pedal causes the car to speed up" -- No, taking the foot off the brake removes a barrier to speed.
