Yes! Bring back Crystal Pepsi and its crystal goodness!

I think Crystal Gravy pretty much killed it. :D

Mmm...now you can see your meat!

There's always eBay.

EDIT: Ah-ha-ha! Thank you Google Image Search:

Haha, Vanilla Coke was never that good anyways, to me. When I read this, it reminded me of McDonald's discontinuing it's Chicken Strips due to poor sales as-well. Oh well, I guess that's how the game is played ... ?

Can you post a pic of the UK version? I am fascinated by subtle nuances between countries like this.

Here you go... I can see it's my duty to post this: :D

Diet Coke with Bacon
To quote Emeril, Pork fat rules! Regular Coke (Classic) works as a pretty good marinade/tenderizer for pork chops.

Unfortunately Diet Coke w/Bacon would probably just be flavored with the same junk they use to make BacOs. They're Kosher, so you know they don't have any real pig in them.

Well I just bought a 2 liter bottle of Vanilla Coke for my last drinking use. When I can find the 6 pack of 12-20 oz bottles of Vanilla Coke I will buy some and join my collection of Coke sodas.

I tried the Vanilla flavor and it didn't do anything for me. Prefer the real thing. The only flavor that I really like added is cherry.

Bac-Os =

The worst stomach pain I've experienced in my life came early in the morning after eating a bunch of Bac-Os at dinner. It didn't help that I was eating them by the spoonful, but I've learned my lesson with fake bacon products. One has to wonder: if it's not bacon, WTF is it?

If you want some nasty soda flavors, look no further than the the revolting offerings of Jones Soda Co.

Me too! Whenever I go abroad I spend half the time saying "ooh, look - their road signs/chocolate wrappers/metro tickets/bottles of toilet cleaner look different. :p

As I hate the vanilla stuff, I don't have a bottle of it and can't find a picture on the net. But, here is a bottle and a can of British Diet Coke, recently bought on a excursion to the corner shop to buy the Sunday papers. :)

That looks just like how our Diet Coke labels look. Except ours don't have the "Sugar Free" banner on them. And your plastic bottles appear to be thinner.

We need a thread of various products that both countries have to discuss the differences. :)

Im gonna miss vanilla coke, I always loved the way it left a vanilla aftertaste in my mouth after drinking it.
I also missed Pepsi Blue, its been so long I dont even know why I liked it so much, Probably because it looked so darn cool.

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Cherry Coke.... :D

Yes, awesome delicious. A nice change once in a while. I remember growing up getting Cherry Coke made fresh from the fountain, even better. :)

My hometown still has a soda fountain inside the local pharmacy that does that...actually, I think our bakery still does that as well. Small towns can be nice. :D

So, the UK has Diet Coke then. I'll have to remember that...never liked the ambiguous taste of Coke Light in Denmark and Germany.

Great 'tar Whyren, I love it when he blinks (and he looks like a Japanese guy I dated)

Yeah, here in Japan it was Coke Lite 'caus the government is refered to as 'Diet'

Also, I think Japan was the first country to have cola and lemon in one bottle/can and it was Pepsi that did it a while back. Still got Pepsi/Diet Pepsi Twist here and not a bad drop. The Coke w/Lime wasn't very good and didn't last long in Japan. Vanilla Coke and Vanilla Pepsi went away quickly too.

I am Australian and we have a drink called Cream(y) Soda, it is not all that different to Root Beer, although Sarsbarela (sp?) is the closest thing I think, but anyway Cream(y) Soda is by far my favourite non-alcoholic bubbly beverage, but very hard to come by in Tokyo. Also like A&W Root Beer but can't get it readily here either.

Oh well, guess I should start drinking one of the 4,856 varieties of 'tea' available in bottles/cans in Japan, not to mention the 7,678 varieties of 'coffee' as well...
