I just updated my iPhone 7 to the newest IOS11 release and my Apple watch series 1 to IOS 4 and now my Calendar notification on my IPhone no longer work (Sound or message) on a lock screen. Now if you go to your phone and click on the home button you will see the message just before it open. Yes, my phone is set to show a message on a locked screen and produce a ringtone. My, apple watch is set to take the setting of my iPhone. When I disconnect the Bluetooth and the iPhone and the watch are no longer connected my iPhone works correctly.
