Cool theater. Anyone know what other specific products have been unveiled here? Might be a hint as to what else to expect beyond the circulating rumors.

If my memory serves me well, it was where we celebrated our merger of NeXT with Apple as the last ``group event'' we had before officially becoming members of Apple.

The idea of a live performance, given the big venue, is quite realistic.
But when the location was announced, the first thing that I thought was that there was going to be a live stream. If this was the case we should know by this morning.

How about a reflective display like e-ink, for books, except..........with color. If done right, it could upstage the Kindle.

Can apple please, for the love of jebus, give us live stream in this lifetime?

Thanks to Macrumors for the Spoiler Free link in the past but that f'd me on the iPad (3rd) preorders...

Looks like Steve Jobs passed down the tradition. I'm not saying that Apple sells their products just based on hype, but Steve Jobs really knew how to sell even the garbage from NeXT.

Hey hey, a NeXT computer was the world's first web server - Have some respect ;)

The shrunken Apple's look more like 60's psychedelia. Maybe we'll see iMacs with coloured glass backs. That would be fun.

The NeXTwas astonishingly good for it's time but it costmore than most people where willing to spend they they did not sell many.

Next Step, of course was the OS that later became "Mac OS X"

Those signs inside. Green, Red and Blue are the primary colors making up white light. New, revolutionary display? What does it mean???? :)

I'll be damned if I'm ever going to recognise Green as a primary colour.

In school we learnt Red, Blue and Yellow. Buh.
Of course years later I learn that Green is apparently a primary colour as well? I wish I could find the teacher that told me a primary colour is one that cannot be made up using a combination of other colours because clearly this isn't true.

And I am from Australia and we put U's into our Colours and that's the way I like it. *shakes cane*

Oh and umm......... bring on new iMac's!

Tears will be flowing if full sized iPad get more then a dock connector update

The current iPad will be updated sooner or later, if it happens tomorrow then it's been a bit earlier than usually :)

For me though, it doesn't make sense to update the current model iPad now, especially if a complete new model is getting released next March, April, it just seems too late to start altering, adding things to the current model.

I can see the point somewhat of putting the lightning connector on it to then have almost every product having it on, but the 30 pin connector on the current iPad could hold out for another 5 months or so for to then have the lightning connector on the next gen iPad. We'll see tomorrow I suppose.

I can't wait for the event; it's like Christmas coming twice for Apple fans.
Agreed, even tho I won't buy any of it. Or so I say. Maybe i'll consider going rMBP or even new iMac.

Currently sporting 15" mbp and hackintosh. But hackintosh sucks and the ipad/iphone are taking care of most mobile needs.

I really do hope the new iMacs will be introduced! can't wait to order one! :D

I'm hoping for a new iMac announcement too. I don't have an iMac at present (Windows PC user) but I'm planning to get one early next year.

I like the vintage look.

Goes good with the new iMac!

I like the vintage look.

From their website:

"On opening day in April 1927, Hollywood stars came to celebrate the opening of this lavish 1,122-seat theater, known today as one of the best preserved examples of late 1920s motion picture houses in the United States"

Great to have the vintage meet the modern.....sometimes this theme can be both effective and provactive, take for example the IBM supercomputer housed in a church in Girona. Worship technology and falsen images!

While an iPad mini is interesting, I really hope there is a Mac Mini to show.

I'm holding off on a PC purchase until I see new Apple hardware and Windows 8.
