Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

COD4 plot was quite impressive, along with cool weapons and interesting levels, WaW was fun, but return to WW2 doesn't leave much for a plot.

Hopefully MW2 will be as good as the first

With what Infinity Ward has under their belt, I think it's inevitable that Modern Warfare 2 will do just that. It's nice to see the Call of Duty was dropped. This gives them room to do more outside of the basics of a wartime shooter.

COD4 was like playing a war movie, the ending sucked imo, the main part of the story was great though. WaW had a decent plot, its just that they have used up all the WW2 plots and they all seem dated now. Whats not to like when you have Jack Bauer screaming at you.

I liked the ending. It was a lot more realistic. It's not like the main protagonist is going to run in, kill a few baddies with the lives of millions on the line, and come out just fine. Stuff will go down :D

Yea for me the ending was like "woh" and it was totally different than other games where its like "destroy the mothership and escape."
 
I'm looking forward to MW2. Do we know what the storyline is going to be like?

What difficulty are you doing it on? I can nearly do it on hardened, but i can't get there on veteran. I'm only 2 levels away from completing the game on veteran!

Yeah, I loved the ending. Couldn't help but try to come up with a one-liner before taking out the main bad guy.
 
i just traded in my cod waw and rebought cod4 -- god the multiplayer on cod4 is so much more fun -- i donno whether its the guns or whatever it is, i just like it so much better.

getting my gold 55 rank and my golden weapons back was also fun (silent gold ak47 FTW)
 
i'd like to see a planning mode on MW2. i like the way rogue spear is setup but i love the game play of COD.

its gona take some time cause even cod 5 for mac hasent come out yet :(

Infinity ward are the **** when it comes to making awesome fps with awesome maps, never really liked treyarch which created WaW.

I'll be picking it up at midnight. WaW was just disappointing and not exciting, although I find some of the multiplayer maps a lot of fun.

MW2 definitely looks like a step above all CoDs.

And whoever said CoD2 was the best is a genius. But CoD4 comes in a very very close second.
