I tried the Chat option, but it said not available for this item, didn't feel like calling at the time. Is calling the only way to report the issue?
Unfortunately yes but it's a relatively painless process.
I'm getting re-boots once every so often. I'd hate to have to burn the thing to the ground as I've downloaded lots of music and would have to do it all over again.
Your iPad is completely rebooting? If so it's definitely defective. If you back it up in iTunes it should be a simple restore when you get a replacement unit.

Safari crashed on me twice today. I'm on the fence if I'm going to exchange it out for a new unit or not. Either way I'm covered for one year under warranty. However I'm really annoyed by this issue.
