Believe it, don't, that's up to you. Going off some inside info from a source that's been reliable to me in the past.

RELEASES:

iPhones
  • 7S, 32GB/128GB/256GB, Starting at $649
  • 7S Plus, 32GB/128GB/256GB, Starting at $769
  • Edition, 64GB/256GB/512GB, Starting at $999
  • No SE update at this time. iPhone 6 and SE remaining as current prepaid options.
Processor, and slight camera improvements to 7S/Plus. 3GB RAM on both 7S and Plus models. Faster processor on Edition model. Wireless charging across all models. Same screens from 7 range on 7S/Plus. Improved screen on Edition. Edition to feature facial recognition for unlocking, as well as a sort of "always on" type display feature.

Tablets
  • No new releases
  • Quiet removal of Mini 4 post Keynote update
  • Sales numbers touted heavily
Not much to see here, due to the recent refreshes. Mostly touting numbers and the recovery of the platform without saying things like "recovery" or "We almost really screwed up here". Mini removal is likely at this time.

Watches
  • S3. Minor spec bump, new LTE model, starting at $369 on Non-LTE.
  • S2 price drop, remaining for sale, starting at $269
  • S3 Metallic finishes to match iPhone Edition.
  • New S3 Edition model with lower price than Ceramic S2
Overall minor refresh. No immediately apparent external changes, though the measurements will change slightly on the S3 models, similar to S0 to S2. LTE models to be promoted heavily via carriers, but will still require an iPhone to take full advantage of features. $5/mo line access for most carriers on LTE model, but possible incentives when linked with an iPhone through the carrier (on a payment plan) as well. Worth noting, this section of the event may be delayed until the Spring event based on external factors, but the updated watches are currently prepared to launch. S1 watches may receive a further price drop, but more likely will be discontinued.

Macs
  • iMac Pro highlighted, firm release date given w/ preorder date as well
  • No Mac Mini at this event
  • No Mac Pro at this event
Not much to see here either. Small mention, sales touted, etc.

Apple TV
  • New 4K model, Starting at $199
  • Non 4K model will *potentially remain* at lowered price
Not a whole lot here, but a big release for some that have been waiting for 4K support. Info wasn't clear on the current generation Apple TV, but it seems it will potentially remain with a slight price cut. 4K model will receive a faster processor as well, but not much beyond that and 4K. Design to be the same.

HomePod
  • Highlighted again, but more briefly
  • Release date announced, along with preorder date
Mostly just a "wrap up" from the WWDC announcement. Expect this section to be brief.

Software
  • iOS 11 release
  • watchOS 4 release
  • macOS High Sierra release
  • Integration features highlighted, some brief demos
The usual here. Nothing surprising, and the brief demos may be cut for time, based on other announcements.

Accessories
  • New cases and case colors for 7S, 7S Plus, Edition
  • Wireless charging accessory/dock, starting at $99
  • New watch band colors
All the usual and expected here. No smart connector iPad accessories at this event.

That wraps it up. These predictions will remain unedited until after the keynote, at which point I will edit strictly to point out accuracy of each prediction, as well as to add an overall accuracy rate to the post. Source will remain unnamed to to sensitivity of information, and requests for information on this source will be ignored.

Thank you. I have me eyes on the Edition 512GB for $1199, assuming it's $100 for every bump up to higher storage. I'm just unimpressed with the color choices. I'm also getting the wireless charging dock for $99. I expected it would cost this much. All I'm waiting for now is the AirPods 2 (for it to control volume and change tracks without accessing the iPhone).

That's my understanding, as far as pricing tiers will go.

This seems very plausible. If it is the case I'll be looking at the iPhone Edition 256gb @$1099. Any word from your source on color details for each model? Biggest question left from me is what Apple has decided to do about the front panel color on each model.

The leaked colors on the Edition are correct - Silver, Black, and "blush". From what I understood, we'll be seeing similar bezel colors as we have in the past - IE, white on silver, black on black.

From my understanding, the 7S/7S Plus colors will remain similar to current ones, but "with less SKUs". This may mean some color cuts, which I assume would be Product(RED) and Jet Black (to push sales to the Edition).

That's what I was fearing but doesn't surprise me. Looks like I'll be opting for the black model once again. Thanks so much for the information!

Interesting, if it is literally just a minor bump to processor/ camera for the 7s series (which I guess would explain the lack of part leaks if there's nothing to see) I might just save some cash and go for a 7+ (assuming it remains on sale replacing the 6s) I'll probably be upgrading again in 18 months anyway, so long before I expect the processor to bottleneck/ miss the extra year of iOS updates.

Wireless charging seems to be the highlight feature to set the 7S line apart from the 7.

I think it makes no sense they choosen white bezels on the some colors of the OLED iPhone... We've seen that on the Apple Watch, they used black bezels (on every finish) to make the screen blend into the design.

The Edition name makes sense considering it already exists with the Apple Watch Edition. A 512GB option is very large on a iPhone but I guess there are people who would use that much storage. It will be interesting to see them demo these phones and new features on stage, I hope we get to see more of the HomePod before it's release date as well.

Oh ok that'll teach me to read posts carefully before commenting... do you know if it'll be proprietary or Qi standard? One of the things I really quite wanted was the glass back design so if that's in I guess I'm back on 7s :D

From what I understand, yes. This is apparently due to the desire to not make the 7S seem immediately outdated from launch, and to set the Edition apart as a "premium" model, rather than the "good" model, with the 7S seeming like the "cheap" model.

Same source said we may see a naming shake-up *next* year like we did on the iPad, with iPhone moving from numbered to "iPhone" and "iPhone Edition". But obviously that should be taken with a grain of salt, as it's tentative at best this far out.

I didn't get info on glass backs on the 7S line, but I suspect that being the case.

And zero details on the charging tech. I'm hoping for standard, but knowing Apple....

Sounds very plausible. If true then I will be looking at the Edition with 256 or 512meg depending on demand. Looking forward to the new Edition watch as well.
Feeling it for the Homepod too a preorder date would be great.
Will wireless charging be immediately available. There were rumours that it wouldn't be around until later in the year.

Can someone please explain what the name “edition” means?

In my experience, the word “edition” always needs a qualifying word ahead of it - something that describes what kind of edition it is: “deluxe edition,” “sport edition,” “2017 edition,” etc.

Why would Apple call it “iPhone Edition”?
