The fact they held features back, put some on the smaller Pro too and put the price up 1/5th is why people are annoyed.

This sound have been an IPad Air 3 no piece or memory changes.

Instead it has a Pro name and everything you expect like 4gb ram is not there so I hope people vote with sales and avoid this tablet until apple release something decent.

The 9.7" is now reported to have only 2 GB of RAM and an underclocked processor--does that make 12.9" owners feel better? lol

It certainly made me feel worse :(

While I can understand annoyance at a RAM difference, I don't understand why a <100Mhz clock speed difference is a problem. Even the disabled GPU clusters seem to leave us with a GPU that is as good for screen display as the 12.9" version, although not as fast at work that isn't reaching the screen.

The RAM is a bit of an annoyance, but when I think of what that RAM went to in our app for the 12.9", not so much. Since every view is backed by RAM, make bigger views, you get more RAM usage. I do think the 12.9" does have a bit more headroom, but not nearly as much as the numbers make it seem.

People are annoyed because they are a bunch of prima donnas.

You really should get a job at Apple since you know what their product lineup should be.
