The best kind of cases with the look and "feel" of the original body are Aluminum cases. Metal. Unfortunately they all degrade the signal one way or another. Be leery of anyone saying there are no signal loss. One look at the field test mode will show significant loss.

If only a case maker can produce cases or bumpers that has the metallic look and feel and not made out of metal.

I ran every iphone caseless from the 3G to the 5S and had only scratches. If you never drop the phone from higher than ~3ft you will never break the screen. You might scratch it though. I ended up getting a case for my 6s (apple saddle leather) because I like the grip better and the leather case is still attractive. So I guess I'm kindof a hypocrite now as I am using a case.

You have to learn to live with scratches and also not be a klutz. Apparently, most people are pretty clumsy because I see a lot of cases around.

I do not understand buying non-Apple brand cases though. They all look hideous and the clear ones are especially tacky.

As soon as I bought my iPhone 6 I put it in an Apple case. A friend recently bought one and I was reminded how beautiful they are in the nude.

Do any of you let your iPhones live free? Is there a danger of damage to the camera every time you place it on a table? Does it too easily slip from your hand onto the floor?

I only use a screen protector. I don't really care what happens to the back or edges. Those scuffs and dings don't affect the experience. But if there is a scratch on the screen then every time I use the phone it's degrading the experience.

Wrong. I dropped my old 5S from less than 2ft and the screen shattered to pieces. The phone landed right on the corner where the screen meets the frame. Same story with my 6 Plus I managed to shatter this summer, dropped from ~2ft, landed right where the screen meets the frame and the screen was very much shattered.

I'm still not going with a case though, I prefer the phone naked.

As much as I love the phone baked I sweat a lot in my hands so that leaves some wet areas in the back of the phone which is easy to see due to he materials so I use one of apples silicone cases which I love not only because of the colour but because of the grip which doesn't make me sweat. I have the White IPhone 6S+ with the white silicone case from Apple, beautiful combo!

Im using a case for my iPhone 6s+ solely for the freedom it offers- I'm very particular about scratches on the phone and I'm used to placing my phones on pieces of paper or something similar. Now with the case, I tend to keep it pretty much anywhere especially when I'm watching videos on YouTube and cooking, for instance.

My 6 Plus had a screen crack from a nasty fall, sadly it was in a Spigen Naked case.

I learnt it a very hard way that I needed a good case, so this time around a UAG case to accompany the 6s plus. I still hate cases, but I love my iphone more :)

I dropped my 5S several times onto concrete from waist height and I am 184cm tall. I guess I was just really lucky? Like 10-20 times...

You guys make it sound like these screens break from any little bump, which isn't true. Maybe if you dropped it at a certain angle from 3ft onto metal you'd have a chance of cracking it but I know from experience that 3ft is not enough barring strange circumstances.
