Canada iPhone 6 thread!

I have the exact same delivery date, no clue what that means. My case for the 6 has already been shipped yet my iphone 6 is still preparing for shipment and I ordered the day of the pre orders

I'm in the same boat as you, and hoping for the same outcome. Although I can easily upgrade with Bell, I don't want to and would rather purchase the phone unlocked. I guess we will have to wait and see how it goes with the reservations.

I'm only 3 months into my contract with Fido, but technically I could renew it if I pay the early cancellation fee to get a new phone at the upgrade price. But with that, I would end up paying almost the same amount as buying the phone outright, and it would be locked. So that sucks. So I'm not too keen on doing that.

I'm guessing it's going to be such a zoo there they aren't going to be too nit picky about this. But who knows. PLUS - it is Rogers/Fido... how many iPhone launches have there been where their computer systems actually worked anyways 🙂
 
I received my invoice about an hour ago.


I wouldn't worry about shipping notices, because they are probably sitting in a warehouse in Concord (for the GTA), and will be shipped out to local dispatch late wednesday - mid thursday.
 
alot of people are going to be upset if they reserved a phone in store and if they don't actually get their phones.

Honestly I wouldn't be stressed if I got the invoice at least with that you know the payment has cleared and either way you get a phone (either you get it on the 19th or later) but not having that invoice is frustrating. I just want to know my payment has gone through and I definitely have a phone on the way.

If your iphone 6/6+ serial number appears under your support profile, I think everything is A-okay....
 
i finally got invoice and my phone is shipped to canada from

Got my invoice (bill) since sunday with serial numbers, tracking numbers should come tomorrow night or thursday...

Nope no serial number and I ordered really early on Friday morning. I got my confirmation from Apple at 1:20 am so I was one of the first 100,000 orders for sure.

Looks like removing the two last characters in the order number works for tracking canadian iphone orders by reference. I ordered 2 phones, looks like I'll have them release day. Their being flown to delaware, not too far from southern ontario 🙂

Neither Apple nor UPS have warehouses in Delaware. It is definitely not your phones, rather someone who lives in Delaware as some of their phones are being shipped directly from China. Our phones were already shipped to the US a week ago and now in transit to Ontario, there is no tracking on that.

And should you still believe that is the case, look at the destination and scheduled delivery. If it is to be delivered there on Friday, you would not get it until next week.
 
why are people obsessing over tracking the phone. apple confirmed that it will arrive on the 19th if you don't live in narnia.

and to those saying "we wanna know the route" etc: apple uses the same shipping route for ontario every time... china to alaska to ohare to missisauga to concord to your house.

Sometimes it's fun to track it. A way to spend time as you wait for the phone to arrive. That's all it is for me.

Hi folks,

Quick question. I live overseas in Korea. We wont get the iPhone Plus until December apparently.

Anyway, last Friday I reserved an iPhone online for pickup at the Yorkdale Toronto store. My sister is planning on picking up my reserved phone at the given time. It will be an off contract device only pickup.

My question is, does she need to bring anything other than the printed confirmation page (which I will email to her) in order to pick up the phone? I already put her name down on the form when it asked.

Just want to make sure there aren't any hiccups...
