I ordered my 6 Plus at around 4 am and the shipping estimate is mid-October... which really pisses me off since my friend who ordered the exact same phone half an hour later is getting it on launch day...

However, I did manage to reserve a 128GB 6 Plus at the Eaton Centre for pickup if I choose to spend the extra $100.

Ordered from Apple, mine still says processing. Anyone have "preparing for shipment" yet?

There's still iphone 6 128gb in space grey availbe for launch day delievery, plus looks like it sold out fast, wonder if that due to higher demand or less stock.

No that won't happen till next week..

If it says 19-23, can we expect it on the 19th? Or do some of you folks have an estimate of 19th exclusively.

You can expect it on Friday or Monday ;) I'm sure it'll be there Friday, I think most major cities will get it on launch day, I think they add the 23 as a safety net incase an issue happens with shipping or for areas that are more excluded from major centers.

I wonder how much these will be selling for on the internet when supplies run out.

Reading people say its cheaper to go on contract? That's not true it isn't, you need to spend atleast $80 a month to get the iPhone 6.. Rogers has an on contract price of $90 that's equals a non-contract price for $65 which you can get down to $50ish a month but well use the $65.

$90 x 24months = $2160 + $400 upfront fee to to buy iphone = $2560 or $106/month

$65 x 24months = $1560 + $860 for same iphone unlocked = $2420 or 100/month

Sure it's not major savings but when your off contract and have your own phone you can get better deals, like you should be able to shave $15/month off the non-contract deal making it $85/month over the $106/month on contract making it a savings of $500 dollars over the two years then when you sell you unlocked iPhone 6 for the new iPhone with the money you saved over the twos years and the money you get for selling your Iphone 6 it'll be like a free upgrade.

Sadly, Telus is only "up to $20 off" when you BYOP... so the savings just aren't there. If I could somehow get the plan with a cheaper base price, we'd be laughing... but I SUCK at plan negotiating... But..hey..you're in calgary..wanna do my negotiating for me?? LOL.

(That's part of why I am waiting for the madness to end...I think it'd be easier to negotiate a better deal on the plan after the crazy ends ... esp as a new customer)

They're already on ebay: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/iPhone-6-64G...105?pt=Cell_Phones&hash=item2c8bb1cbd9&_uhb=1

Reserved through Rodgers. Was able to score a 128gB silver iPhone 6+.

Currently number 26 What does that number mean? Will I be able to get it on launch day? Pleaaaase help meeee

well go buy a 6+ direct from apple for the price of a macbook air...subsidized price is pretty reasonable in all fairness compared to market retail

Unless you compare it to any brand other than Apple.

It's become progressively expensive to join/stay with the iPhone ecosystem, subsidized or otherwise.

It's mean out of the 128gb silver 6+ you were the 26th person to order it and you get the 26th one for that color and model.

yes but what other device holds its value as well? a year after you can sell your iPhone for the cost of early upgrading and the new subsidized phone so really its almost free to have an iphone if you're smart about it year after year

Ordered three 64GB iPhone 6. Two in silver and one space grey. I am torn between silver or grey, so I bought both and will return/sell the other. The extra was just in case my friend wanted to upgrade. She isn't sure yet.

Either way, I can't wait to get the hell off Telus. I should have went contract free last time with the iPhone 5.

You can get the plan with a cheaper base price. It's called Fido, Koodoo, or Virgin. I'm switching tomorrow in preparation.

The official Apple delivery map shows Friday delivery for pretty much everywhere other than extreme rural regions. Assuming you have a major city within driving distance, you should have it Friday.

Canada iPhone 6 thread!

Anybody having issues looking up your order on the iPhone app and/or Apple web?

Got my email confirmation at 4:21am ET. It also showed up in my order history in the app. But since later this morning it's not there.

Whenever I try to retrieve the history I get an error message saying it cannot retrieve the info.

Where did you find this map??

Seems crazy that it's 100$ more. Anyone know if I can cross the border buy the iphone and come back with it?

Any restrictions on this?

Ordered a 64 GB SG 6+ and am getting a delivery date of 19-23... I just changed my shipping address (to my work address). Would that affect my shipping time? I hope not :)

True if you wait like 3-6 months when the hype goes down and stock is available you can get better rates as the demand lessens, but right now and for the next 3 or so months it'll be too high of a demand for the product to get them to come down on the monthly fee when your getting them to carry the extra cost of the phone, this all goes away when you buy the phone straight out.

With Rogers I cancelled even after retention talked to me just cancelled and was going to switch, they give you 30 days before closing your line but before that 30 days is up they have someone even better than retention who calls you to keep you, that's when they offered me 50% off for a year of the $65 monthly plan so my bill was only $32.50 a month for unlimited canada wide talk text with pic/video, caller ID, voice mail and 2 GB of data, this is the power you get when you don't need them to carry the cost of the phone, they don't want to lose your business and since you're not in any contract or have to buy out the phone remaining balance you're able to get much better deals. You can also try out wind mobile which has towers in Calgary and you get unlimited talk, text and data(5gb) for $35 a month no contract.
