Everyone that has 11/3 should be checking their tracking (if they have it) - a bunch of the Americans have left the ZZ airport.
They think they're on National Cargo flight 628 (me, I think they're just moving inside China) - but we'll see what the tracking shows in a few hours....if I'm right, I think they'll get an update in Shenzhen soon.

Don’t worry those on November 3 shipment date will get it on that date. It’s only a 8-9 hour flight from China to Alaska a 6 hour flight to Kentucky. Kentucky Thursday it’s an over night next day delivery to your front door. It’s always been like that. UPS knows the logistics. Every launch is like that. All our iPhones are in pallets once scan it will show up. Don’t worry no need to panic

For those scheduled for Friday delivery... anyone shipped yet? Will they be coming from China to Canada? Shouldn't we see movement if so??

Panic mode has clearly set in :D

So based on my past experience ( I have pre-ordered my iProducts ever since pre-order was offered); Apple always under promise and over deliver. So no need to panic about not seeing status change. It will most likely be updated by tomorrow. In the past I have seen shipping labels from an office located in Markham on launch day items (e.g. iPad/iPhone/Apple Watch). So our phones might already be in Canada and they are just waiting to ship them out locally.

For those with 2-3 weeks delivery; my own experience with the original Apple Watch launch - I pre-ordered using the app and i got 4-6 weeks delivery window. To my surprise, Apple delivered it to me on launch day! Needless to say, I was really happy. So there is still hope for those with a non-launch day delivery window.

Good luck; don't panic....and enjoy the experience. I still get a kick from reading these delivery threads. It's like Christmas in November for me....lol.

No tracking for my Nov 3 yet. Really not worried, I feel like every year I don't have working tracking until the day before.

Heh. The UPS drivers have been grilled to not deliver iPhones before launch day. Even if you have a buddy that works there, not a lot of guys willing to jeopardize their jobs to get a friend their phone a day early. :)

I ordered 64GB Silver at 3:15 here in Southern Ontario, and it is set to arrive between the 20th and 27th! I was hoping to get it on release day, but the website didn't show up on either my MacBook, iPhone or iPad until past 3:10.

It was a mess but you are lucky for 3:15 cause I ordered mine 3:08 and got 21-28 so at least you are in similar ship dates cause in the states by 3:15 it was horrible shipping rates

That's strange that you ordered significantly earlier than me but yet still got a later delivery date than me. I heard that if they decide to move up shipment dates, 20-27 orders would be first, then 21-28 orders.

I'm probably going to go to my local Apple Store Friday morning before school to see if they have walk-in stock available, if they do, I'm going to cancel my pre-order.

I suspect the day different window is just due to different models. In all likelihood, we'll all likely get our devices sooner than scheduled.
There is supposed to be walk-in stock at each store, so it should be interesting to see how many get their devices on launch day that didn't pre-order (or did, but are trying to beat their delivery date) :)

Yeah 2-3 weeks honestly isn't too bad, with all the rumours earlier saying that many people wouldn't even get it until early 2018!

I remember when I purchased the 6 and 7, I just walked into the store about 1 week after launch, and I had no trouble getting one. Hopefully that's the case for the X!

It's bad considering I woke up at 3 AM, constantly refresh App store and webpage, only got in at ~3:08

Other people might have used 7 devices to refresh the webpage, 1 device got in and was able to pre-order, I only had 2 devices :( Webpage loaded on desktop at 3:08, App store loaded at 3:18 on iPhone

Mine was set for delivery Nov 14-21 here in Canada, but it just changed to preparing to ship with a Nov. 3 delivery date!

Oh man, i must've been oh so close. At least you got one in time though!
[doublepost=1509239879][/doublepost]
there must have barely been any stock for the Nov 14-21 delivery week, with the larger, real second wave being Nov 21-28.

.....for the Nov 21-28 people

I went through the Telus preorder. Ordered Friday morning at 3:00am-ish MST and got a Space Grey 64gb with shipping Nov 2 (delivery 1-5 days). They had some issues with my "personal information" (aka as I late found out: using my work address for shipping) and left voicemail and sent email to me Saturday and by time I finally got in touch with a live human last night (Monday) I had changed my mind after watching a few early reviews and wanted Silver.

So rep cancelled my first order, and then stayed on phone while I reordered online a Silver so he could approve my order right away (and gave me some workarounds when the website was glitching out on me) so I would not have same issue with shipping address. Went to 256gb as it was only one still set to ship on Nov 2 (it still is available on their site with a Nov 2 date!). Order status is approved and set to ship Thursday. I doubt it will be here Friday though as I am in a smaller city....hoping for Monday.

I was getting cranky about the terrible Telus web order customer service system (you need to leave a message or send email and they will call you back...but they are so busy so who knows when that can happen), but the reps I did eventually talk to last night were awesome and patient, and they are working a lot of overtime beyond their usual opening hours right now to deal with the preorders.
