I still can't believe that so many U.S. orders are getting bumped when I'm in the Nov 21-28 pool, despite receiving my confirmation email at 3:06AM EST. My dates haven't changed and my card hasn't been charged.

if they are in concord they are at ups there already. I’m very close to there so won’t expect shipping until Thursday or even Friday. That’s where it will go out for delivery from.
Tried chatting with an Apple specialist and she just said "we are processing orders as quickly as we can in the order they were received". Again, I'm not buying it when I see customers (mostly in the U.S.) getting bumped to Nov. 3 or shortly after when they received order confirmation quite after me. It does also seem that the iUP customers are getting more love

+1. Concord is usually the last stop for UPS in Ontario before "Out for Delivery"
Telus preorder will not arrive for launch day they just told me..... probably Wednesday now

Perhaps for the GTA, but for those of us in Eastern ON, there is always an extra stop in Ottawa. They don’t drive the brown delivery trucks 4 hours down the 401

Still says preparing to ship.
I hate the fact that my UPS driver always shows up no earlier than 5pm. I have to wait all day Friday in anticipation. He will be delivering my case tomorrow, maybe I can bribe him into coming early on Friday. I'm glad to see the phones are already in Concord though!
LMAO this speaks to me on a personal level. My UPS guy always comes around 4-6PM. Every time I think it'll be different lol. Let's see what happens Friday.

Something is happening.
I order the X and then went back and ordered a case. Both showed up on my CC as pending transactions. The case is in UPS and showed up as departing Concord last night for delivery today. This morning the case has moved out of pending on my CC and is Posted. The phone is still "Preparing for Shipping" but the entry for the phone is no longer Pending on my CC. It is gone.
Being an optimist it leads me to believe that it is on the verge of shipping.
Good to see that some with later dates are being bumped up.
Keep the faith.

The Fido pre orders (device reservation) just opened up 2 minutes ago. I got position 19 for ix 256 silver (and was in the Nov 21-28 delivery window). So expecting to get that first, but who knows when.

If there is a lot of interest and few Apple Stores in your area, you’ll need to arrive in the middle of the night. The only time I lined up was for the launch of the 6. I went to the Ottawa Rideau store and there were probably 300 people ahead of me when I arrived at 5:30AM. By 10AM, I was nowhere near to even making it into the store, and they were out of the Plus models so I left and went to work.
I was able to get one the next day through the store reservation system, no waiting involved. Ever since, I don’t line up
I got position 20 for the same. You just beat me.
Someone must of changed their mind. 18 now! Yay! That’s not bad - but maybe it could be weeks before they even process any. Who knows with Fido and how they started late to this party - although maybe cause pre orders didn’t start till now most people didn’t know the exact 7am ET Nov 1 start time and it’ll end up being a blessing in disguise.
I didn’t order from Apple until 12:12am due to delay accessing website (or app). Didn’t come up for me till 8-9 min after midnight. Still at Nov 21-28.
My order from Apple has the same window (placed 12:07). I’m not optimistic either will ship soon, but I’ve got two options now and don’t want to wait in line in person. So I’m happy.
Honest question: Since the storage diffence between models is quite significant... 64 GB & 256 GB, is there any specific reason you chose to go with the smaller option?
Personally I chose 256 because I’m currently using a 128 GB 7+. I also think that the new camera would be storage-hungry.

Hmm. Noticed someone mention in the 11/17-11/24 bump thread that their father was bumped up from 12/3 to 11/16 (T-Mobile US). Also, all the November 17 us got bumped up one full day to 11/16. lol.
256 was a bit too much for me. Since most of my space is taken up by phots, I decided I’d add iCloud for 3.99/month.
