istocknow site keeps going down or returning no results or 502 error for me LOL

Honestly I'd just go off of Apple's reservation page. No tears, no fuss.
I'm almost mad at myself for staying up until 3 am on October 27th, and lining up for 16 hours yesterday. :rolleyes:

Just wake up at 5:45 am and be ready to open the page at 6 am. Easy.

I wonder where iStocknow gets its data from. The data suggesting that Newmarket had stock was fairly new. (considering that they're not open yet, how do they get that data???)
 
I find it a bit strange that Halifax still has 256 GB models available more than 3 hours later, and Calgary (3X the population of Halifax) didn't even get any 256! Doesn't apple know that Halifax is just a small fishing village? (I kid, I kid).

Essentially: Jane Smith cannot pick up for John Smith, even if John is her husband. The reservation would have to made under Jane's name to begin with.

You have the opportunity to write in the name and contact info of someone else when making the reservation if it won’t be you.

did you get your reservation at Eaton? I thought the pick up and walk in are different stocks and since I missed the pick up reservation then I might try my luck walking in and see if they have any silver 256g available

Okay... well fair enough. I didn't examine the page closely enough. But still... then you might as well make the reservation under their name. What's the difference?

did you get your reservation at Eaton? I thought the pick up and walk in are different stocks and since I missed the pick up reservation then I might try my luck walking in and see if they have any silver 256g available

I reserved mine in Newmarket, since I will be in the area later today.

I saw Eaton Centre had some for reservation. Unless someone cancels mid-day or doesn't show up, then that's all they have. I can't see them having extra for walk in. That's the purpose of "reserving".

the pick up reservation has different stock than the walk in. The reservation makes sure you will get one.... while the walk in depends on your luck... thank you anyway!

You're saying Newmarket did have stock earlier this morning? Which one?
 
the reserve page was online before 6am ???? and it wouldnt show any stock in all of alberta....

can someone send me the link to see if im doing this right?
 
Agree. Never getting up at 3 for the phone. Online reservation is much easier. If I didn’t have to be out today I could have had one. I’ll try tomorrow, but I feel comfortable confident
 
Is it better to try to pick a time in the middle of the day? Don’t want to waste time picking an early time slot only to find out it’s taken by the time order goes in. Anyone know how that work?

Every second counts and it opens in 20 min here on west.

Alberta inventory sold out right at 6am local time. Only had 64gb in sg/silver. Try again tomorrow!

It opened at 6am in the dot.
