Got my reso for a 256 SG at 930 today. Eaton Store by 1030. Walking out with new iPhone in hand by 11am. Wish you all the best of luck. I’ll be cancelling my nov 21-28 preorder now.

Yeah I called and the guy said they have all of them, but when I got there she told me only 246gb in black. So yeah there's stock for walk in which is separate from reservation stock.

i know i saw them at 6 am on the dot. In my case it was gone in like 5 seconds... got the message its not available as i clicked a timeslot.

Agreed-I think a lot of preorders will see bumps on Monday. My husband and I picked up our phones yesterday and hearing other conversations around us, it seemed there were a number of people who had preordered but managed to nab an in store reservation. There will have been lots of cancellations over the last couple days.

Not sure I’m optimistic since most of the cancels are for Nov 21 deliveries. We might see some bump ups for those sitting with Nov 28 or longer.
 
I can’t believe after getting up on Oct 27 (& putting in prep work beforehand with setting up payment etc) and getting Nov 21-27 delivery..... then deciding to line up for 11 hours on launch day only to get the colour/storage choice I didn’t want.... I casually wake up at 5:55am this morning and get exactly what I want for pickup at 10am!! I got a Silver 256 from Toronto Eaton Centre.

I feel so bad for everyone that gets screwed over by the ordering process, it really is a matter of luck.

I just cancelled my preorder, so hopefully it moves someone else a step closer to getting their phone.

Checked last night around 11pm, almost every store in Toronto has stock, but they were gone fast. I guess next weekend will be widely available, don’t worry...
 
AB Calgary Market Mall 64GB Sim Free just came up
*all gone*

Just called both stores in Calgary, both ladies told me that there are zero walk in iPhones X and the only way to get them is via the reserve and pickup page....guess its hitting the luck with this site or wait till Nov 21-28 for my pre-order to arrive

well got it home and so far the only hickup was setting up apple pay . kept telling me to contact issuer but after opening the banks app I saw that you can add your card to apple pay that way and it worked.
all but 2 passwords mover over via the keychain but they were just email addresses I use a lot so no problem remembering them.

phones plugged in and so far no heat problems
 
I am happy to see some of you getting your Xs earlier than anticipated with the reservation system. Hope the rest of you trying do soon, as well.

The system is definitely screwy. I preordered through Telus on October 27 and got a 64gb SG for Nov 2 shipping. Changed mind on October 30 and preordered again through Telus a 256gb in Silver. Received it Nov 3. I guess that the carriers get an allotment and even as late as October 31 when I checked Telus still had a few 256gb Silvers left for the release date.

This was first time I ever did a preorder, and while it worked out for me, I can’t say I would do it again! I can usually wait a few weeks longer if needed :) I don’t live near an Apple Store so no lineups or reservations for me either.
