Canceled my 12:09am order for delivery on Nov 21-28 (256 silver).

Same configuration here (256GB Silver) but mine's still Order in Progress (Nov 21-28). Hope that changes later on tonight seeing that others are getting ready to ship.
Mine’s also preparing for shipment. 64 space gray ordered at 3.06 am if that makes a difference. Will probably just give the one thats coming to my mother or something...
Canceled my 21-28 preorder. It was for a 256g SG. Was able to reserve and pick up a 64g SG at west Edmonton mall store yesterday. Decided the 64g is more than enough space for my needs. Love the phone!!

I was at 401 and Yorkdale exit 20 mins before the window opened and made it to the Apple store 5 mins before the window closed.
The place is a zoo, leave well well well in advance of your reservation.
I know you get a 10 min grace, but I didn’t want to chance it.

Can anyone confirm if the $50 extra charge for Applecare, was a glitch? I would raise hell if forced to pay it.
Absolutely nowhere is it mentioned we would be hit with an extra charge for buying it afterwards.

As I noted above, when I bought it 36 hours after receipt on Apple.ca it showed as $299 but at actual checkout it was $249 plus tax. I think the listing of $299 is just a glitch/error.
Confirmed it's a glitch/error just bought it and even if it says $299 at checkout it will be back at $249 plus taxes.
It said Nov. 3rd up until I got my confirmation email at 3.08 am. Sigh.
On a slightly less serious note: I love how this thread has devolved into "how to score local reservations / did you get one?". Well done, Apple... you really stuck it to Canada.

Hey everyone, I placed my order for SG 64GB at 3:04am with confirmation at 3:05am, with a delivery for November 3rd, but In my email I was given the 21-28 delivery time. Today my card got charged but my status is still “order in process” with the same delivery date of 21-28, anyone else in a similar situation?
I've had a Tech 21 Evo mesh (basically the same as evo) case on my iPhone 6 for nearly 3 years. I bought a new one about 6 months ago for a colour change. I love how low profile it is and the transparent models show off the phone nicely. But I did crack my screen pretty good when I dropped it on concrete, so it's definitely not the most protective case. But I've dropped my phone at least high double digits, maybe triple digits and never had any other issues. I don't particularly like the Tech21 cases. They stain very easily... and are quite expensive. Amazon is your friend for great quality cases.
I had tech21 cases for my 8 Plus and a previous 6S Plus. Wouldn't get them again. I now have a Caseology Skyfall case for my X and I love it.
got mine today! holy crap I love it. Can't believe the difference vs the 6. I don't miss touch ID even a little bit. You don't even realize you're unlocking the phone anymore because Face ID takes care of it for you.

You can swipe before or simultaneously, you don’t have to wait for the animation.
Yeah but you still need to swipe, seems like a extra step for no reason. I’m just nitpicking now.
Edit: wow I love the new gestures , getting into multitasking is so much easier now
The extra step lets you see notifications (if you wish to) before going on to the home screen.
not sure if it's just me, but I can see the charging icon on the phone itself but iTunes is not showing the % moving up and has stayed at 76% for a while. I rebooted the phone and iTunes - now at 77% - should I drain the phone and then charge back to 100%?
