Also, my post above looks screwy; my phone doesnt work real well posting on this site. Sometimes I can't enter hard returns either - I press enter on my phone and nothing happens.
Mine also left Rialto at 4:16PM PST. And unfortunately is not scheduled to arrive till Monday but who cares as I leave on Friday and I'm not back home till Saturday 14th anyways so it doesn't even matter now!!

Mine's in Calgary as of a few minutes ago - still says in transit - so it's not stopping and I'm sure just heading over to Richmond BC - which is where the YVR Fedex depot is - and I'm only a 10 minute drive from there So tomorrow before 12noon looks realistic.

Mines in Missisaga Ontario today, rather than Ontario California from yesterday, ha. At some point its going to have to come by air or sea because Im on an island, but its making good time so far - not to jinx it or anything.
Ordered a new one on October 29th and it has already been shipped. It's scheduled for November 5th not bad

You know - like say you go to for example a starbucks - and there are 20 people in front of you in line. But you wait and wait - and when it's finally your turn - you notice there is only like 1 person waiting behind you - and if you had not arrived to order for an extra 20 minutes you could have just walked right up and got what you want.

17 days will be the new record until I finally get mine and if Fedex is correct saying it will be here Monday that will be a grand total of 21...yes 21 days for me....
That is a good analogy.
I think that there must have been some mess up at Apple...like maybe ours were scheduled to come out of China and then they realized that was backed up and switched them to California or something....just don't understand how some of ours took 2 or more weeks and others are already getting theres that they order 1 week ago....
I got mine today, definitely really nice machine. I'm very happy with how smooth the UI is, which is something that worried me. Things like mission control and the three finger swipe up/down gestures were very choppy on my mid-2012 rMBP, but on this iMac (M395 / i7 / 512GB SSD) they're completely smooth.
One worry is that for a few minutes there was a purple line down the center-left of my screen... it took up the entire screen and persisted after a reboot, almost definitely a hardware issue. Yet it went away after a few minutes, so I guess I'll just leave things be for now unless it comes back...
