who's with fido? the price that they're charging now is insane for the grandfathered plans...

Looks like I'm going to end up cancelling my reservation of the 6s+ and go with apple store at that price.

My 64 GB Space Grey 6s+ changed today to Preparing for Shipment as well, ordered at about 3:05.
How long until our orders unofficially ship? As in trackable via reference. Also, will Apple use UPS and FedEx as they did last year?
I imagine we won't see the orders shipping until Wednesday/Thursday depending on your location.
In the past apple has always used UPS/Fed Ex for launches.
Phones are coming from china. The tracking number will depart from China. They will ship Monday or over the weekend. Latest would be Tuesday. Don't forget China is 12h ahead.
Flight from china to usa is 12h. From usa to canada another 5h. With processing times etc I would say shipping will take 1-2 days. Hence it cannot ship Thursday, Wednesday would be very tight.
I would concur the latest Apple can ship is Wednesday. This was my experience when I ordered a new sport band this week. The sport band was shipped from China on Wednesday 9/16, arrived in US 9/17 and delivered to my house in Oakville at 2pm on Friday 9/18. It was shipped using UPS Worldwide Express Saver. I think my iPhone 6 Plus was shipped using this method as well last year.
So I don't think we'll see tracking numbers until Tuesday next week.
My phone's serial number is now showing in My Support Profile, nice.

Just got my invoices for the two 6sPlus. Funny the email invoices are from "USA Batch Processor". If you scroll down to the bottom it also shows shipping from Elk Grove, CAlifornila. Interesting.

So I cancelled my order for the 6s+ (which wasn't coming until October), I had second thoughts about getting such a large phone, esp since I am coming from a 5s.
I have just ordered a space grey 6s 64GB and surprisingly it has delivers between 25/9- 29/9. Doubt I will get it on launch day but amazed that they still had phones available a week after the pre-order started.

They must have a ton of space grey 64GB. Based on different poles I've seen on a few forums it + rose gold are by far the most ordered.
If you have a 25-29 ship date and live in shipping zone 1 you should get it Friday.
I just checked and the phone is due on 25th! I'm in Halifax and I have noticed, it normally takes an extra day for items that come from outside of Canada to be shipped out here, so I wonder if that means the phones are already in Canada? Hmm..
I got the space grey as that is the only one with the black face, I would have liked the rose gold, but don't like the white.
Anyway, I am going to the states that day so I won't get my phone till I pick it up on the depot on Tuesday :-/

Got my invoice this morning also along with the serial number and the fact that it is shipped from Elk Grove, Ca like others had noted. Also showing up in support profile with the serial number. Order status still shows PFS with the 25/9-29/9 date though.
To see ups tracking number go on ups website and select track with reference number. Input phone number, zip code and destination country which is canada. It will give you the tracking #.

If I have preordered from Telus with a two year contract, at what time should I expect to get a shipping notification? Since they must have to put a Telus SIM card in it, it must ship directly from Canada, so I was guessing I would get a notification like 2-3 days before it gets delivered? It's the first time I preorder from a carrier, so I don't know what to expect
