@mcmanus7, @joellywellyn, @vincent99 - if you guys had caught up on the thread a little, you would have seen we were talking about tomorrow's deliveries a few pages back. If you have a delivery date from Apple for tomorrow, it's just that the tracking hasn't been updated. (which is common for UPS to mess up at launch time).

Chances are they all cleared customs yesterday and are in a depot close to the destination by eod today.

Oh I know I'll have my phone tomorrow, just seemed odd to be sitting idle. My other phone is being dispatched from Concord with a delivery time of by 4:00pm should get it by 10-11 tomorrow.

Don't worry thebeat, there is a lot of sensitive people here

I don't quite get where your comment is coming from. Along with quite a few other people.

I mean we're all excited but really, calling apple and calling your service provider isn't going to help in anyway.

Also some seem to think by calling ups and asking where is my iPhone is going to work... Well considering ups delivers over 10mill packages a day, and the iPhone is set to deliver on Friday and considering today isn't Friday. You are just wasting your time and everyone else's. Ups service advisors do not have much better information then we do tracking online so for a ups rep to say your iPhone is in Canada yet the scan shows ky, What makes you think it is in Canada?

E

Exactly. What would the difference be between "standard shipping" and any other type of shipping if the phone isn't even released until Friday. Shipping millions of iPhones around the world is a pretty impressive feat, and package/mail delivery isn't perfect. If you wanted to guarantee you have a phone on the 25th you should have reserved in store. Even if apple doesn't even ship your phone until tomorrow, you'll still get it within their delivery time frame of September 25th - 29th.

I know what Thebeat07 is saying, he was just joking around. But you guys don't have a sense of humor to get what he is saying. It actually surprises me how serious people like you two are.

Rogers pre-order customers are starting to get shipping notifications. Just got mine a few minutes ago.

FYI my phone just departed Kentucky. Will receive tomorrow. Guessing it's headed for Concord.

I just called Fido and they said they don't do phone transfer on phone, that I need to be at the shop

they hate me :(

I think you're asking the wrong thing then. You need just the sim card in the right shape, there is nothing to transfer. They don't need the devices IMEI of a unlocked device, ever. The only reason they would even want that information is if they sold the phone subsidized to track shrinkage from dealers hawking them on eBay and Craigslist.

They can update the sim card ICCID on their computer when they sell the sim card, most places that is automaticly done when they scan the bar code. If you buy a new phone and they want you to "transfer" anything, that means they think you want to add a new line of service (eg porting from another carrier.)

Canadian customs clearance is done at the Mount Hope (Hamilton) airport for UPS. That's the first stop this side of the border, then to Concorde to be broken up to regional shipments. Only time I've seen otherwise is when we're getting enough shipments to justify splitting east/west, then half of it goes through Ontario, CA to have Canadian customs clearance done at Richmond, BC.

...and it doesn't make a lot of sense that it "just" left Louisville. Those shipments are early in the morning (usually arriving here around 5:30am).

Their tracking is messed up.

I checked the Delivery Date Information page since 2 days ago even after I got my tracking number. It still says "We're sorry. We are unable to provide a more detailed delivery estimate at this time."... I am really hoping to get my phone tomorrow.

Did you put a space after the first part of the postal code? Only gives me that message if I bunch the postal code all together X1X2V2 instead of X1X 2V2. Just a thought. --- NVM saw this already has been said.

I just got "My UPS" notification that it'll be here in Calgary by 3PM tomorrow. That's about when I normally get my UPS deliveries so all is good.

Good service that "MY UPS". You get an email any time something is in their system with your address listed.

I'm sure you will all get similar news if you haven't already. :)

Yeah we'll see what comes next. The flight from Kentucky to Ontario is probably 2-4 hrs? So should see some update this evening.

Thought I should also mention the only "reference" tracking that works for my 2nd iPhone (the one in Concord already) is my billing phone #. In the "reference" list it does not show the order # like my Kentucky phone.

You beat mine by 2 minutes!

Concord, ON, Canada 09/24/2015 13:43 Origin Scan
09/21/2015 20:06 Order Processed: Ready for UPS

My order is currently in Concord and scheduled to arrive by 5PM tomorrow. I'm working 8-4 so I'm hopeful that its dropped off at the local UPS store for me to get after work. It's hard enough waiting for the release, let alone another day lol.

The RG iPhone 6S that I ordered is sure racking up the destinations:

Minneapolis, MN, United States 09/24/2015 16:41 Arrival Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/24/2015 15:42 Departure Scan
Louisville, KY, United States 09/23/2015 12:15 Arrival Scan
Anchorage, AK, United States 09/23/2015 2:27 Departure Scan
Anchorage, AK, United States 09/22/2015 20:35 Arrival Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/23/2015 7:33 Departure Scan
ZhengZhou, China 09/21/2015 21:00 Arrival Scan

I you are not home for delivery they will leave you a notice and then try again on Monday. They will only leave it at a UPS drop if you instruct them to. With that said any revisions to your shipping will automatically delay until Monday. I would stay home from work lol.

Does anyone have a phone "stuck" in Kentucky?

My SG 6S tracking right now is just showing label printed (given the shipping of UPS Express Saver I know it's in Canada so no worries)

My RG 6S tracking has been stuck in Kentucky since 12:11PM (EST).

I don't doubt that I'll receive both tomorrow, but seems odd to be still stuck in Kentucky.

All 3 of my iPhones - 2 x 64GB 6s+; 1 x 64GB 6s have been stuck in Kentucky since 9/23 with no movement. Past orders have shown tracking changed from Kentucky to Mississauga (I am in the west end) on the same day as the delivery day. So some of us might not see any movements until tomorrow morning when it says "Out for Delivery". Although I am not worried as I know Apple will always deliver as promised, I am just a little annoyed to see no progress.

My experience with UPS... It will make it back to the UPS depot later that night. Like, after the time that you could possibly go get it. At that point, you can request them to send it to the local UPS store, but you won't be able to get that till Monday.

Maybe you'll have better luck than I have...

Your experience with UPS and iPhones or UPS in general?

Generally when I've gotten things delivered from UPS it will end up at an "Access Point" that night for pickup (a local paint store). I'd be ok with having to wait to pick it up until Saturday, but I really don't want them to wait and try again on Monday.
