Feels like it's the only one i can get today i live in a ****** part of QC

Yeah, something like that. I think I got my on eBay, though.

The only thing I would stress is never put an adapter in a phone without a SIM card in it. I did that with an old Android phone, because it was the only device I had that still used full sized SIM cards. And I didn't want to lose the adapter. But when I went to take the adapter out, the empty socket in the adapter got caught on the contacts for the SIM, and the socket got wrecked. Wouldn't have happened if there was a SIM card in it, though.

For those of you that got tracking numbers today and are worried that it doesn't look like anything is happening, here's some information that I hope helps calm your nerves.

Apple is one of the best in the world at supply chain and operations, I'd place a high amount of trust in their abilities. If your order says "Delivers 25/9-29/9" then check your postal code in the "Delivery Date Information" section on this page (http://www.apple.com/ca/shop/help/shipping_delivery) to get more accurate delivery dates.

Also, it seems that some phones are coming from China and other are probably located locally in Canada. For the phones coming from China, its quite obvious since there is tracking information showing where your phone has been. Phones coming from China via are using UPS Worldwide Express Saver.

Phones that are sitting locally are using UPS Express Saver (http://www.ups.com/content/ca/en/shipping/time/service/intra/express_saver.html) which is a domestic shipping product which has a delivery commitment of "Next business day delivery by 3:00 p.m. to metropolitan areas across Canada". Although since UPS is going to be busy tomorrow they might not make the 3pm guarantee, but should delivery on the day. Since the phones are local, UPS probably hasn't touched them yet. They probably only need over night to process them and get them out on trucks to you for launch tomorrow (major metropolitan areas).

1 more sleep!

I checked the Delivery Date Information page since 2 days ago even after I got my tracking number. It still says "We're sorry. We are unable to provide a more detailed delivery estimate at this time."... I am really hoping to get my phone tomorrow.

I got the same error when I didn't put a space in the postal code. Did you try X1X 1X1 format?

What date did Apple give you in their e-mail? If they said the 25th, you'll almost certainly get it on the 25th.

UPS tracking is a joke on launches. They seem to have a system that doesn't scale well (ie. it's overwhelmed with all of the traffic).

Does anyone have a phone "stuck" in Kentucky?

My SG 6S tracking right now is just showing label printed (given the shipping of UPS Express Saver I know it's in Canada so no worries)

My RG 6S tracking has been stuck in Kentucky since 12:11PM (EST).

I don't doubt that I'll receive both tomorrow, but seems odd to be still stuck in Kentucky.

Kentucky is where UPS Worldport is and it's quite impressive. Most international packages will route through here. It'll get to Canada in time =).

@mcmanus7, @joellywellyn, @vincent99 - if you guys had caught up on the thread a little, you would have seen we were talking about tomorrow's deliveries a few pages back. If you have a delivery date from Apple for tomorrow, it's just that the tracking hasn't been updated. (which is common for UPS to mess up at launch time).

Chances are they all cleared customs yesterday and are in a depot close to the destination by eod today.

Some of us pay over $1000 CAD for the unlocked phone, yet we can't get proper tracking and only have the option of "standard shipping". lol

And you'll likely get your phone in the delivery window that Apple (or your carrier) promised you. That's all they promised you. Not minute by minute tracking, with GoPro video of your phone as it makes it's way to you.

I don't quite get where your comment is coming from. Along with quite a few other people.

I mean we're all excited but really, calling apple and calling your service provider isn't going to help in anyway.

Also some seem to think by calling ups and asking where is my iPhone is going to work... Well considering ups delivers over 10mill packages a day, and the iPhone is set to deliver on Friday and considering today isn't Friday. You are just wasting your time and everyone else's. Ups service advisors do not have much better information then we do tracking online so for a ups rep to say your iPhone is in Canada yet the scan shows ky, What makes you think it is in Canada?

Exactly. What would the difference be between "standard shipping" and any other type of shipping if the phone isn't even released until Friday. Shipping millions of iPhones around the world is a pretty impressive feat, and package/mail delivery isn't perfect. If you wanted to guarantee you have a phone on the 25th you should have reserved in store. Even if apple doesn't even ship your phone until tomorrow, you'll still get it within their delivery time frame of September 25th - 29th.
