I ordered a 6s space grey, sucks you need to wait so long. There seems to be a lot of variation in shipping updates and processes. How many different ways can there be to ship a phone?

Yeah that's probably because I think that year the pre-orders came online the night before launch. So a lot of people decided to line up at the store instead of waiting for their order to arrive the next week. I lined up for the 5s and then cancelled my preorder.
 
The only way I'm getting mine today is if UPS forgot to scan the Lachine, QC departure and, for some reason, UPS decides to send a second distribution truck from Moncton to Fredericton around 11:30 AM.

In other words, I'm living enviously through most of the rest of you for the next few days. :)
 
Mine says this:

Last night, mine moved from Kentucky to Hamilton, ON... seems to have left Hamilton and (presumably) on its way to Kitchener, for eventual delivery to my grubby hands in Waterloo.

That shipment goes to Concorde for sorting first into regional shipments. UPS is going to need to do additional delivery runs in K-W to make those that were told delivery for today.
If it's looking like you're not going to get it, you could call Apple and ask for Saturday delivery (UPS has done that in prior launches when they've messed up, even though the "saver" that Apple paid for isn't qualified for it).
 
My iPhone was stuck in clearance yesterday, woke up this morning and it's out for delivery.

So if your status was like mine last night, relax, you'll get it today.

Fingers crossed it makes it to me today... but if it doesn't, I'm find with Monday. I don't want to kill my weekend waiting for it...
 
Just updated my pink iphone to 9.01...good to go! Taptic and 3d touch is pretty awesome.

Were your phones from Apple.com?

I wish they had used Fedex for mine as Fedex actually delivers...UPS is a **** show.....so pissed at UPS as always...why can't Apple learn and ditch that company....absolutely useless as always.....

For iPad original version, Fedex got it to me in Whitehorse on launch day...UPS has failed for iphone4, 5s and now 6splus....what a joke....
