Expect the price to be between $750 and $850 for the 128GB 6S+. Seriously, if our dollar stays at this rate for a few years I won't be buying Apple Products anymore. I can get Android phones for cheaper, I mean the Samsung S6 is only $250 on contract for 32GB. Apple is the only tech company that has really raised prices here when you look at it. For example, PS4 in the US is $399.99 and $449.99 here when it should actually be closer to $529.99 here.

My rough math was giving me close to a grand after 15% sales tax tax Even with a 2 year contract... Yuck.

Yeah, it's pretty disgusting when a cell phone costs as much as a MacBook Air. It's getting really out of hand and honestly I can't wait to see how they price the iPad Pro, Pencil (LOL), and Smart Keyboard. Those are probably going to be close to $1099, $149, & $229 respectively in Canada.

Check price of retina MacBook. This iPad pro with key word and stylus will be more than 1500$ cad for sure.

Does anyone know when we can expect to see on contract prices from carriers? Anxiously awaiting.

Was hoping that there would be an Upgrade Program for Canada. Looks like carriers will give resistance, as they are carriers.

I have owned every single iPhones, but I am priced out this year. I don't see the value at the price Apple.ca is asking for coming from iPhone 6...

Most likely due to the fact Apple hasn't found a creditor yet here. They will focus on home soil first (US) and then expand it to foreign territories

I agree, that program would have been excellent for those who upgrade regularly

Am wondering if it wouldnt be cheaper buying the unlocked phone in the States for us Canadians. The price difference is ridiculous.

It's roughly the same price in USD. Just the dollar is down. The only premium would be $40. So not worth it.

Im on the phone with Rogers right now, and they still don't have the official on contract pricing... the rep went so far as to say that we may have to reserve without knowing the final price...

Wow. That's pretty odd. Maybe the Rogers execs are thinking about subsidizing the phone more as they may think that the phone's cost is too high for an average consumer?

I'm pretty sure that for at least the last two years the reservations have opened long before the carriers announced the subsidy pricing. If memory serves the Canadian carriers usually announce pricing a day or only a couple hours before the phones are in stores. And all the carriers announce their pricing within a couple of hours of each other.

Anyway, I'll be buying unlocked. I sold my 6 64GB for $700 USD. Should work out well. Going for the 6+ 64GB Silver. I hope I'll get it on launch day. Odd that they didn't make pre-order night a Friday and they usually deliver the next week, not two weeks later.

Doesn't matter, my salary doesn't go up. Last year I got my phone for 970$ taxes in for a 64gb iPhone 6. This year it will cost 1160$. Not upgrading this time unfortunately.

exactly, that's what no one seems to understand.

i'm still making the same as i was a year ago, but the exact model i have today costs $1309. a year ago i paid (and it was still ridiculous, but i didn't want to lose my plan) $1094. 16% more today for the 6S+, but my salary never went up 16% o_O
