My 6s Plus Silver 64GB is currently "Processing Items" and my delivery time frame is 9/25 - 9/29. Will I get the phone on launch day?
Last year when i ordered the 6, i got the same time frame and I got mine on release date... so you will get it on 25th

Anyone know how to cancel an in-store reservation? I know I won't be charged if I don't show up but I feel a bit bad that somebody else could reserve that phone. The Apple website said there was no way to do it online.
No worries, the people in the non reservation line will buy it.

Just remember with UPS, you need to register for an account with them to redirect shipments. Also. based on my experience with the program (and three Apple orders), if you choose to redirect a shipment to a depot, it adds a day to your delivery (no matter how early you try to redirect it using their online resources).

If you are slated to get a shipment on the 25th, expect it to be to the depot at end of day on the 28th. I literally showed up to the UPS store (agent) as the UPS truck was unloading when I got my iPad Air 2 and wasn't able to get it in my hands until around 7 PM the next business day after it was slated to deliver. They still needed to receive the item at the store which took a bit of time before they could release it.

That sucks. What about if you just miss the shipment? What would the odds be that I could pick it up that night?

Anyone know if can request to pick it up at the UPS store? I'd be pretty bummed if it won't be delivered until the 28th

and if you need to set up a new UPS account (i.e. never redirected anything pre-first delivery) then they need to send you a piece of snail mail first before the account is active and is able to be used.

I have two UPS pickup locations within minutes from my home. One is a branded UPS store. The other is a drug store with a big UPS sign in the window. I actually had a pharmacist give me my stuff (the pharmacy had better hours than the UPS Store). Both were options for me to redirect my iPad several months ago.

I had some other things from Apple coming around the same time. Each and every one of them I attempted to redirect using my UPS account and all seemed to be going along just fine...except UPS changed the delivery date on all three of the orders on the day they were supposed to be delivered to my home.

In all three cases, I wasn't able to be home to sign so my hands were tied. If you are not able to be there to sign for the delivery, they return them to the depot and attempt delivery the next business day. They did not give me the option to come pick them up at the depot. Only the locations I chose to have them redirected to and in all cases, it was end of business day the next day.

Based on this, I am certain that if you redirect your delivery slated for the 25th, there is a good chance you won't actually see it at the new location until end of next business day. Also note that you can actually get it delivered to another address altogether. There is a charge for this and they warn you it will be delayed a day as well.

The program is called UPS My Choice, and it's free to sign up for. It's actually a pretty slick program, and I normally hate UPS.

Slim to none. UPS drivers are often on the road until 7 PM (at least my guy is) and they return to a depot which is closed to the public at that time. They actually try and discourage any pickup at their sorting depots from what I've seen in the past. You can get them to hold it at the depot instead of a re-delivery but that means next business day. If they allow you to pick up from sorting depot on Saturday, might be worth your while.

That sucks. There definitely won't be anyone home to receive it on the 25th so I might just keep my in store reservation and cancel my preorder.

Agreed. Went through that process long ago.

I just put in an order for 6s plus 64GB space grey. I'm still in two minds, I have a 5s and the original iPad mini. The 5s still works great but the iPad mini is showing its age. I'm thinking get the plus and that replaces both devices.
And it turns out I'm going away the week it is due to arrive (I'm in the 2-3 weeks shipment group), fingers crossed it arrives before I leave.

Ordered a 6S but I haven't used the new Rogers pre-order system before. Do they ship to store or to your house?

If you used the reservation system then it will ship to the store AFAIK.

Ya that's what happened when I reserved my last phone. This is the first time I've used the pre-order though. Looks like they ship to my door, though not completely sure.

Its 100% safe to say all orders will be in "Processing" until at least Monday-Tuesday NEXT week (not tomorrow) where they will change to "Shipped" or "Preparing for Shipment" etc.

By next week you mean tomorrow Monday, or the 21st?

Is the sim-free iphone bought in the US the exact same version as the sim-free phone bought in Canada?

I ordered a 16 Gb Space Grey iPhone 6S from Telus with a delivery date of September 25th in Quebec to replace my iPhone 5. Wanted to get a 64 Gb, but with the high prices in Canada I decided to stay at 16. Can't wait to get it!
