I had the iPhone 11 Pro Max. Then I went with the iPhone 12 Pro. Now, I am seriously contemplating going back to the Max, but it is an extremely tough call. The struggle to fit the Max comfortably into pants is real, as is holding it for an extended period of time. Forget about typing one handed, unless you use the modified keyboards (and even then...).

The screen on the Max is brilliant, and the battery life is very enticing. I go back and forth. Probably deleted and started over on my pre-order a good 6 times now...

Yeah and my phone is my main device I don’t own a iPad nor do I want one lol.

What are you leaning towards then?

I have a mini so both are considerably bigger. I went with the 13” Pro 6.1. I’m a cyclist and carrying the Max in my Jersey would be like carrying an iPad. I use my iPad at home when lounging and rarely use my phone.
Similar for me. I use my 11 inch iPad Pro at home exclusively. I mainly use a phone for the basics and primarily when I’m out: texting, email, camera, maps. Oh yeah, and for calls!! The 13 mini would be perfect…size wise. The 13 pros camera’s are pulling at me though.

As it stands right now, back to the Pro Max! 256 GB in Graphite. Who knows what it will be in the next hour though, let alone in the morning tomorrow lol.

Ultimately though, I think the allure of battery life is what is getting me. That, and, taking full advantage of the ProMotion display. Going to look absolutely stunning on the Max. I think I am once again willing to sacrifice some convenience for these benefits.

Yeah I’m leaning towards the pro max either in graphite or silver. I want the longer battery, screen size and it’s my main thing for media. I think going to the pro I would regret

why space gray over graphite ?

Why silver? Well, I think I am pretty solidified on having an Apple Leather Case in Black (Midnight). And, there's a modern trend/aesthetic of having that black/white contrast. Seeing that combo everywhere - first thing that comes to mind is the PS5 - but it's so much more than that. It just looks nice. Also, I've always loved the homage to original Apple products like the iPod. White and natural stainless steel is forever associated with Apple's design aesthetic in my mind.

That said, Graphite is a nice sharp color too. Really can't go wrong either way. At the moment, leaning toward Silver.

I’ve had the max. I do love it! But it doesn’t love me! It hurts my hands, sags my pockets, and awkward at the gym, and in 6-5”… lol
Team 13 Pro! (Unless I change my mind during the night) lol
This is the part that makes me most skeptical to go to the Max. Sometimes I wear shorts that have no pockets or they get weighed down easily so adding even more weight is gonna suck. Plus when I go running I just hold my phone in my hand and the mini is perfect for that, the Max I'm not to sure will be the same way

However, as I am always on my phone and using it to do 'work', I feel like the big screen can be beneficial. It's just a matter of is it beneficial enough...

The Max absolutely weighs down shorts, especially basketball-type shorts. Running with one is a huge pain too! At the time I had the 11PM, I resorted to a fanny pack during exercise. Feel like it is too large to be comfortable on an armband for most people too. However, if you have an Apple Watch, particularly with Cellular, this is less of a concern.

every time I have to use hubby's phone I think how small it is! I don't think I can give up my MAX! and I REALLY drooled over that PINK phone when it came up on the screen during the keynote.... but I have to give up PINK for the larger phone... that's saying a lot for me!

I wish I could use my Apple Watch for running! Unfortunately I'm not much of the playlist kind and prefer just choosing my music per song as I go (yes, as dumb as that sounds...) so I need to have my phone with me

As for the Max weighing down shorts, ugh. I really hope the battery life and big screen will be worth it with that then... This is on top of the wallet, keys, and AirPods I already have weighing down my shorts
