iPhone 13 Pro Max Can’t decide 13 pro max or 13 pro!!

I agree. That’s what I’m going to do. I intend to keep the next iPhone I buy for 3+ years, So, I need to see it and hold it to choose.

Well folks, i’ve ordered the 13 Pro Max… Coming from a 12 mini, we’ll see how I like it
Although it may seem weird to do such a big jump, my theory is that if i’m gonna have to use an awkwardly big phone, I ought as well get the better one. As to whether i’ll keep it, that remains to be seen

Same boat as u i still currently XS Max, now ive already ordered 13 Pro Max and was surprise same price as my bills $$$ but little discount etc as $3 off
I'm in the "wait and see" camp. I'm still loving my 11 Pro Max so there is no urgency for me. I passed on the 12 Pro Max because my 11 is serving me so well. I typically skip one or two models before upgrading but I recently used an Android Pixel 5 and it convinced me that 5g is a worthwhile upgrade finally. When the 12 came out there was minimal 5g coverage. But Verizon has made huge network upgrades and my area now enjoys plenty of 5g, although not the Wideband 5g yet.
I will continue to bide my time, evaluate the 13PM based on hands-on reviews once all this pre-order hoopla dies down, and make a (hopefully) informed decision. Of course I'm starting to hear that little whisper in my ear... "time to upgrade... You know you want it... Yoooooohooooo..." And I do want the shiny new hotness.

iPhone 12 Pro Max to Pixel 5 to iPhone 13 Pro. Found the Pro Max to be a bit too big and heavy to use. Using the Pixel 5 has made me choose the 6.1 normal Pro to be optimum.
Also I have an iPad Air 4th Gen, iPad Pro 12.9" 2nd Gen , MacBook Air M1. So if I need to watch videos etc etc. Ill just grab one of these devices.

I did that... wouldn't say "regret", but the screen was definitely not as nice on the pro model compared to max. But i just ordered a 13 max this time...
I was planning on sticking to the 12 Pro Ive been using since launch last year but the trade in offers really enticed me to upgrade. I thought about the Pro Max for the bigger screen and battery since I no longer own an iPad after working from home started(Always using my MBP where as I would take the iPad to the office). I used to always get the Plus sized phones from the 6 through the 8 and then went to a XR and now a 12 Pro so i'm used to the bigger size but even those phones were pushing it size wise for me when it came to one handed use. So with the 13 Pro Max being even bigger and heavier than what I am used to I opted to go with the 13 Pro 256. At the very least the battery life will still be better and the phone will be more pocketable.
Plus when I pre-ordered at 11am this morning the Pro Max was already delivering into mid October so impatient me wasn't going to wait weeks lol.

I moved from an 11 Pro Max to a 12 Pro. I'm very happy with the 6.1" screen size. The increase in size on the max sized devices from 11 to 12/13 made it just a little too big for comfortable use for my hands.
Yeah, I convinced myself to wait and see reviews before ordering. Just seemed like the sensible thing especially since I'm still enjoying my 11 Pro Max, which has been absolutely flawless.
Aaaaaaand..... I ordered the 13 Pro Max/512GB in gray. Not really sure how it happened. My fingers began gliding across the keyboard as if they had a mind of their own, and before I knew it the deal was done. No trade-in, got the AppleCare+ with loss and theft, and a black silicone case. I'm as stunned as you are.

Exactly the same here. Its TOO bulky sometimes.
Had a max/plus since 6. Played around with the 12 Pro, and the portability and ability to single hand, not to mention it fits in my car glove box.. yea im switching for this year
I love the smaller/regular sized iPhones, but every time I get one I miss the battery and screen on the Pro Max. I can make a case either way, but in the end I guess i'm just a Pro Max kind of guy.
That’s the exact position I’m in. I really want to get a silver/white iPhone 13 pro 256g. It looks really nice, it would be more comfortable in my jeans pocket, it would be easier to go jogging with, and, it would be easier to handle. But, I know the second I take it out of the box I’ll miss the bigger display and I’ll be telling myself that I’m losing out on battery life.
I initially ordered the 12 pro last year, sent that back and got the pro max, and all year I’ve been looking at the 12 pro on an off. So, I promised myself that when the 13 series came out I’d get the 13 pro. And….. here I am in exactly the same position as last year. That 13 pro in silver/white with 256gb of storage is perfect for me, but that screen and battery life would be a sacrifice.
I’m also rushing myself to make a decision, when I’m happy with my 12 pro max for now. It’s not like I hate the phone I’ve got.
I’ve added the 13 pro in silver/white 256gb to my basket and then changed it for the graphite 13 pro max about 12 times so far.
Oh, and I keep telling myself that the 120hz Pro motion display would look much better on the 13 pro max.
The regular pro still has a big display to be fair. I mean a 6.1 inch display used to be considered huge. I think the problem for me, and other is; Once we’ve used the bigger display on the max versions of the iPhones everything looks cramped on the smaller version. It’s difficult to go back to the smaller pro model.

Well….. I’ve decided to go with the 13 pro max. A friend of mine just came round for a chat, an he has the iPhone 12 Pro. So, I tried his phone out for 10 minutes. There’s no way I’d be able to get used to a screen that small after having the 12 pro max. My friends 12 pro looks really neat, but, for me that’s where it benefits end.
I’m definitely a pro max kinda guy. So, all I’ve got to decide on now is which colour iPhone 13 pro max to get. My 12 pro max is the graphite one so I’m tempted to go for the same colour. Because, in my eyes the 13 pro max is what the 12 pro max should have been. I’m currently looking to the silver/white one. I’m definitely going with the 13 pro max and getting the 256gb version. Silver/white or Graphite? I do like my graphite 12 pro max, I’m just starting to think that they graphite/grey might look kind of dull.
Has anyone else decided on which one to go for yet?

LOL...If I had written down my feelings and described what I have been thinking...this would be it! I feel your pain my friend. Right now I am going with 13ProSilver512. But leaning towards canceling and going 13ProMax512. For all the same reasons.
The silver/white is really nice. the silver sides is super sharp. had that with my 12pro. so either silver (1st pref) or the new blue.
