Order Status page updated to reflect a FedEx tracking number for me. One tracking number for both the black and white 16GB. FedEx doesn't show any data yet for it.


You will not have any data from fedex until it is actually scanned by them. Our software does not allow us to send the data behind the label to fedex. It's simply a zip code as far as they're concerned.


All of our shipments are going to be next day air, and of course they will not be processed by fedex until tomorrow in order to prevent your grimy hands touching our product until release day :)
 
Thanks for all the info but I just want to confirm, you've mentioned a lot lately if it's backorder 0 it will be here by Friday, earlier you also said Processing status will be here by Friday, is that still the case? Mine just says Processing Qty 1. I ordered through AT&T early in the morning 9/14
 
Back order???

I see a lot of posts from people saying that their order is Back Ordered. Where are they seeing this? When I look at my order status I just see the following, and it doesnt look like there is a field for back ordered qty. Am I missing something?

Phone and SIM:

No tracking #
No Carrier
No shipping date
Quantity 1

Nothing about Backorders or anything.

So i got that same email to me last night. i went on the att and it went from processing to shipped and no back orders. but now my money is back on my card im guessing cause it was pending for so long. am i good?
 
Here are my 2 orders..

1. White 16GB - ordered In-Store at 8AM PST...says "QTY Back-ordered: 1"

2. Black 16GB - ordered by phone with my Premier rep at 12PM PST...says "QTY Back-ordered: 0"

People with back order: 0 that appears any time before tomorrow will have them on Fri. Our cutoff has been changed to 1600EST

fedex just picked up 30,000 phones, as they were scanned you should now be able to see tracking numbers from your order status page. It probably won't work on fedex's page until it hits the sorting facility.

I've avoided posting replies here, waiting for the status to change as indicated by the OP. I must say he knows what he's talking about! I'm now back ordered to '0' and have a tracking number, which updated this morning. I will now stop trolling and wait for my delivery on Friday. Thanks, Schlong Man!

On a side note, 56% finished.. Processing like crazy...

Just showing my difference in phone color & ordering methods so far.

Do you mean 12 AM PST ? was the order time. If you ordered at 12PM PST and it shipped, you are a fortunate soul.
 
I ordered mine at about 1pm PST on the 14th over the phone so I'm not expecting one on launch day, but I'm curious as to why my order status says that I ordered on the 15th?

Anyone else experience this?

I got one up on you. I ordered at 8pm EST 9/14 and my order status page says I placed my order on 9/17. I got screwed. Only reason I'm staying with AT&T is my grandfathered unlimited day.

meanwhile, ive seen people say they ordered theirs hours later and already have their shipping info. ATT sucks
 
"Processing" just disappeared from the BofA checking account (checked through web), and the amount ($240) has been restored. Do you know what does this mean? There is no sign of cancellation in the ATT order status website and I haven't received any call from ATT representatives.

I do have sufficient amount in my account. Purchased with debit card on 14th 11AM at ATT local retail store. (16G Black)

Yea mines is like that no backorder says shipped but i have my money back an its just tere? Im trying to figure it out also
 
Mine is showing Image Ordered Friday Morning, 7:30AM EST

My status page shows the exact same as yours, except mine shows an order date of 9/14/2012. I ordered on Friday 9/14 at about 7:30 pm PST. I had a "1" under "Qty Back-Ordered" until yesterday evening, fwiw. Given that I was quoted a delivery date of 14-21 days, I'm not expecting my phone on Friday, but if what GF has said is true, then perhaps it will be here on Friday after all.
 
Do you expect to get through 100% of the current stock today, and then the new stock tomorrow? Or will you still be processing some of the original stock tomorrow?
2 phones, 1 black 16gb, 1 white 16gb, both still on backorder, ordered 5am pst on friday morning.
