I checked my order status, and its been processed and left Orlando, FL which is pretty close by to me.
I already got my mail for today tho and no case.
I guess i have to wait till Monday, anyone know if USPS might swing by my house randomly today to deliver it ?

If not, what a disappointment. :(

It's been a crazy weekend so trying to find the time to take some pics has been tough but I did a quick video. Please note, this was the first time I have ever posted to YouTube and the quality really sucks but it's what I was able to crank out in a short period of time. I will still try to get some high quality pics posted but I really dont want to put the case on my phone again because I really fear scratching the bezel.

Here is the link to the video *YouTube shows it as still processing*: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVFyfU8ZbDI

Thanks for the video. Yeah the case seems to be a bit too large for the iPhone!

I would not consider it to be too large but it certainly does not fit (at the bottom) like I would expect it to. Again, this could just be my case so it will be interesting to see what others say when they get it.

Beyond the fit issue I just do not feel comfortable with the way this case snaps on to the sides of the phone - it makes me feel like one small slip and this could seriously scratch the bezel.

I have a white one on the way in addition to a iSkin Revo 2. Problem is I do not plan on opening the white one - its going straight to Ebay :(

Thanks for the review and video psychonaut. I'm really hoping the fit issue at the bottom of the phone is specific to the case you received. It would've been nice if the soft bottom layer wrapped up and over the bezel like other silicone cases as the phone does have a rather forgiving margin around the screen anyway.

Eager to hear from everyone else who ordered one of these guys..

Mine doesnt fit on the bottom either, and it really sucks because I absolutely love the case otherwise. I much prefer the feel of this case than my InCase Matte Slider for my old iPhone. I tried several cases for my original iPhone, and this case is by far my favorite. Also the button covers are amazing, gives the sleep button and volume a more clicky feel than without the case. The plug for the dock connector is perfect too. Haven't tried the screen protectors yet, but the dock adapter works great. I just wish they would fix the bottom, maybe its a bad batch?

Did you feel comfortable with the snapping on of the exo skelleton? I felt a little nervous doing that myself. Indeed it sucks about the bottom, it really could have been a winner. :(

my case has the same problem. :(

i guess ill keep this till the inCase slider for 3G.
if that ever does get released.

Got mine today. Mine fits perfect! I love the material it's made of. It's not too abrasive so it won't stick in your pocket. Overall 9/10.

No issues with yours at the bottom by the home button? Im in the process of contacting SwitchEasy in hopes of getting another if this is in fact a defect and if yours fits fine without drooping I suppose that answers my question.

Thanks!

Would this case fit over an iPhone 3G that had a ZAGG Invisible Shield over it?

Also, f anyone can post some pics and confirm theirs has that gap at the bottom like psycho's... please share! We'd all greatly appreciate it.

Got mine today as well. I took the black one and gave the white one to my wife. I wasn't at all worried about the exoskeleton fit -- the soft plastic is between that and the iPhone at every point, so I actually think it's safe to just snap it on and not worry about it touching the phone.

Overall, I'm very pleased. It did not add too much bulk (for my taste, at least) and made the phone considerably easier to hold. That was the main thing I wanted it for, since I had been very concerned about the iPhone slipping out of my hand over the pavement. The protection is quite well thought out -- every corner has the double layer and almost everything on the phone is covered. The appearance isn't for everyone, but I quite like it. I had wondered if the black would seem too "Batman," but it really doesn't. It treads the line between geeky cool and mainstream cool, but I think it won't look out of place in my office, for example.

I have two very minor problems with the fit: first, I've also experienced the bottom edge issue that some others have mentioned. This part is the soft plastic, and it's the one area on the phone where the outer shell doesn't hold the soft part in place. As a result, there is a slight gap and a loose feeling down there. It's a minor thing, to be sure, but I do find myself wanting to push the piece back into place while I'm doing things with the phone. Second, the screen protectors, which I otherwise quite like, seem just a hair too long. If I position the top correctly, the hole for the home button doesn't line up precisely and the bottom edge is just slightly over the edge of the screen. That wouldn't be much of an issue, except that on the two that I tried, the bottom corners of the case push on the film and create bubbles in the lower corners. I ended up not using the screen protectors, which is fine with me, since I don't really believe the glass screen could be scratched in normal use.

The accessories are a nice touch, especially the video stand. And as I noted earlier, the customer service seems excellent. This probably won't be my case forever, but it certainly could be if I wanted it to and I'm very pleased with it overall.

I received mine today. I really like it. I would agree with all the descriptions above. The only drawback is the bottom cover as mentioned. I wish it had a hard cover like the other snap on spots. If that was fixed then this would be perfect. If someone calls the company, please let us know what they say about the bottom issue.

BTW - The stand is perfect. I can put it in my pocket for on the go. And the case is not too bulky which is great when I put it in my pocket. Doesn't get caught in pocket either, real smooth.

Just wish the bottom was fixed. I give it a 8.5 out of 10.

ordered on switcheasy's site on 7/24 and received it on 7/26.
thats pretty good service from west coast to east coast, and it only cost $3 shipping. thats just great service on switcheasy's part.

just like the previous posts, same issue with the bottom area.
this could've been the case, but that 1 issue turned me off (kinda anal about the fit with cases).

anyone know about switcheasy's return policy?

Guys please post pictures!!! I need to see pictures of it better. I am waiting on this before I order!

The pics at ilounge dont seem to show the defect

I'm disappointed that this case didn't deliver despite how promising it looked.

Regarding the version that iLounge received, I wouldn't be surprised if it was a pre-production specific model for reviewers.

for anyone that contacts them or otherwise tries getting the case exchanged, please report back, because I want to hear if they happen to find a way to fix the sagging bottom section.
as much as I hate to put my iPhone in a case and lose the use of my 3G dock, I'm really digging the look of this one and would love to get it if they get that flaw worked out

I sent an email to switcheasy stating that many people are facing a "deal-breaking" issue with their design in attention to the bottom fitting loosely. I also asked him what their return policy blah blah blah... they replied the following:

Nick,

There is no defect in the design, only defected items. Some of the
very early released items had this issue. Happy to
replace items with expedited shipping on a rapid turn around.
I should mention we offer full refund for any reason upon return! (
include shipping and handling)

did you use the contact us form on switcheasys page or another method? I ask because I have used that form before but did not get a response and would love to get a working replacement.

Thanks

yes i did use the switcheasy "contact us". In fact, I was quite surprised; they got back to me in about 1 hour. The email was labeled "big issue" from sezoltan@gmail.com (so maybe try emailing him). Im disappointed they have not got back to you because i was just thinking how great their customer service was with full refund/replace etc. Just surprising they let this defect happen to their first buyers... isn't that one of those no no's you learn in marketing 101.

It's good to know that switcheasy will be replacing/refunding any defective cases. I just ordered one and am praying its not defective. :)
