CARROT Weather 5.0 Launches With Fresh Design, More Snarky Dialogue and Customization Options

How about offering a separate subscription for people who mainly use carrot on the watch? I was a subscriber until I recently changed Apple ID. Now, it looks like I will need to pay $20 a year (which is a little steep), which is more than I was paying under my previous Apple ID.
 
I am happy with Myradar so I will stick with that. I get radar maps, lightning strike notificatioms, rain starting notifications and no monthly subscription charge.
 
Has anyone noticed Carrot Weather app on the watch using a lot of battery with the standard settings? It has been using a lot of my battery, whereas as the stock weather app doesn't.
 
I can't seem to get the Carrot widget on my iPhone 11 Pro to update automatically. I have been a subscriber for quite a while, and like the apple watch and widget options a lot. My watch updates, but not my iPhone widget. Odd . . .

Have you tried reinstalling?

My favourite weather app! Seems with the update they're pushing subscription, but if you purchased the app before version 5 you still get all the features you had without the subscription. I don't need the features that are behind the sub, but they do have a "tip jar" so I did tip the developer. I like that option because you can give an amount that reflects the value you get out of the app.

I’m glad your so happy with the app. I have used Carrot for 4 yrs and paid for it. I’m so unhappy with this 5.0 version they ruined an awesome awesome app not my job to make an interface for the price that subscription cost I contacted customer service what evil nasty people they are. So I had to delete carrot off all my devices I loved it up until three days ago when it upgraded this horrible awful designs and art. It is irresponsible of the app developer. Then again the developer could care less he just wants his money! We are no longer customers we are their product. So disappointed. I was willing to pay $14 a month because I loved it. Lol can’t give right weather but I loved it. I feel I breaking up with someone. Never to see that awesome app again.

Since you were a previous customer, Tish, you would pay the same price you had been, unless you felt a need to go to a different level subscription.

If you need a dear John letter, I will be glad to craft one for you for a one time fee. :D
