The small complication should be toggle-able to either feels like or actual temp, just like the large complication. Unless you're asking for separate toggles, so you can have the large complication showing feels like and the small complication showing actual?
Ah, found the toggle down at the bottom of the complication config screen. I agree with with @Cricet1979 that separate controls for the large and small complication would be nice, if feasible.

I wish all apps had threads like these. Sometimes you send in emails to the developer and hope they even see it. Here: complete interaction!

Yeah, definitely possible, just have to figure out how to do it in a way that doesn't make the complication customization screen look too cluttered - it's already getting to that point with all the different options! Might have to rethink the organization in there.

Oh, yep it does. I forgot about that feature in watchOS 2!
I really have to give you props for your product and customer service. By far the best weather app for the watch and customization. I want to keep beta testing and finding problems but I can't. Other than the feels like always coming back on. :)

Thank you. Should be more like you out there and Apple should allow us to say how often we want to update certain apps. 30 minutes is fine to me for the complication but on a road trip I may want 5 minutes.

Yeah, well done Carrot maaaaaannnnn!

Still doesn't beat the service recieved from the maker of "Wanky Weather", he actually calls around to everyone's house to manually update the app for you saving you having to do it yourself.

As a bonus, while he was here last he put out the rubbish for me, cut the grass and did a bit of the ironing.

Now that's service.

(Keep up the good work Carrot)

I don't think you'd want CARROT in your house... :p

It works really well. If you needed more selling.

Better than the other 3 weather apps I paid for/testing. No other weather app has been able to come close in comparison with both accuracy and location/weather updating on the complication. Carrot is the only one that reliably updates every half hour, which I can trust to be up to date on its own, without needing to update it manually. I've tried all the other paid and expensive competing apps and it's the only one offering 30 min updates, accurately and reliably, for both weather and location data for a very reasonable yearly subscription. A competing app, using the same weather data, charges double the price for 45 minute updates.

For the watch complication use, carrot is #1 bar none.

Just been working on a bunch of different things for the various platforms! And for the next month I'll be working on the backend that supports subscription logins and push notifications, since Facebook decided to shut Parse down - that's the service that supports all that stuff. Fun fun fun! :p

Greetings MakerOfCARROT,
I left my phone at home this past Friday to go out to see a movie (I had to re-sync all my music - stupid iOS update). I wore my watch and somehow....magically the carrot complication (large on the utility face) kept up with current temp - I have a temp display on my car dashboard. I didn't have my phone, just my work phone and that's never been paired with my watch. There was no wifi that I've connected to on my phone so no idea how this worked but it did....guess I will call it magic. It was a nice bonus that I don't understand how it worked but it was very kewl that it did :)

Cheers,
Bobbie

The app downloads the expected conditions for the whole day/night and updates if anything changes (try using "Time Travel" on the watch and you'll notice the temp changes with the time).

I use this to check the temperature/conditions to come that day which saves me going in to the app.

Now I might be wrong but I'm sure Mr C will be on here at some point to confirm.

That's it exactly! It's great because you'll still be seeing roughly accurate weather data throughout the day if you're without your phone or an internet connection.

I'm bummed...I thought there was some magic here! :)

Well, I didn't think anyone would believe that CARROT's actually downloading weather data without internet access by draining your life force... but if you're feeling a little more tired than usual, that's why!

oh man....... so we pay $3.99 for the app (which as far as apps go, is pretty expensive) and on top of that an additional $1.99 a year to get the cool stuff!? Poo.....(

i know! right! I'm CHEAP... err...... a good bargain shopper!

I've been reading the thread but I just haven't been convinced that I need to spend that much for a weather app when I already have several free ones that I've been using! *sigh*

I could see free app/premium pay or maybe even .99 app/premium....

while maker of carrot is entertaining.... I'm CHEAP!

No, cheap is good...... I like cheap.

I, like you have and have tried most if not all the free weather apps.

Some are pretty good, others are dog poo!.

What was the clincher for me with Carrot was really the phone app the AW addition was just a bonus.

I used BeWeather for a while as the option to change the weather icons in the app and in the phone NC was a nice change but found the accuracy of forecast was a bit hit and miss (mostly miss)

Darksky was/is a great weather app for its notifications (I believe Carrot is looking in to this in a future update) but still not as accurate as Carrot.

What is your "go to" weather app?

Something you get here that makes it worth the $$$: the developer interaction. You can't buy that with most apps. Here, there are features in the watch app that have originated in this thread.

I'm an AW newb. I have Dark Sky installed, does it notify me of rain via watch?

I'm looking to check out Carrot, too.
