Probably doesn't help much to mention this but the WU app/website itself has been going nuts. Their quality has REALLY gone down hill over the last 6 mo. Last 2 weeks almost unusable. :( I miss their really cool dev update notes. But that's what prompted me to move to Carrot awhile back - Dark Sky was telling me it was raining all the time (when it wasn't) so I did the ultra premium upgrade to WU data. CARROT is working well on my iPhone / Watch for now but have gotten a few "raining" notices in the last week.

I can't STAND any of the other weather apps so CARROT is my home - just hope it can find a good data source or hopefully WU can keep its act together.

I've noticed it myself as well - one of the next major updates will be adding several additional data sources so we don't have to rely on WU and Dark Sky as much in the future.

My daily notifications are set for 9.00am and 9.00pm. A major update around 6 months ago had both notifications arriving at 10 minutes to the hour. With the last update, notifications arrived at two minutes to the hour. Hoping that today’s update brings notifications back to exactly on the hour, as they were all those years ago!

This is happening because the daily report notifications are now being sent by a server, rather than dispatched locally on your device. It's tough to send tens of thousands of notifications all within the same 60s period, that's why I start them a little early :p

I'm an Ultra Premium member, but why does it only update every 30 minutes?

Because Apple imposes limits on complications so they don't use up excessive battery. Apple Watch apps only get to use a limited amount of CPU time before they get killed by the system.

Is watchOS 5 going to fix this, or just on the Siri watch face?

I'm not aware of any changes in those regards, no, but it'll probably get better as newer and more battery efficient devices are released.

It was mentioned prior that you were featured on one of the WWDC slides. Does that have something to do with any future updates?
