Yeah like I said in a couple post back.....the inside of mine was also very sharp not polished or cleaned up at all. It really scratched up the plastic around the glass. Like most have said you can actually run your finger on the inside edge and feel the sharpness. Especially in the center where the padding is. Looks like a last minute grind and they didn't bother to clean it up. Emailed them for an RMA number the same day I got the case.

RECEPTION UPDATE:

After a solid week of heavy use both at home in LA and on a 4 day road trip up the coast to Mendocino, I'm convinced that this case is having a significant adverse effect on my reception. Pre-JETT, I virtually never had dropped calls at my house and my IP4 consistently had better reception than my wife's 3GS. Since putting on the JETT, I've had 8-12 dropped calls at my house and on my road trip found that my IP4 often showed "NO SERVICE" while my wife's 3GS was showing 1-2 bars of service. I wouldn't say the difference between my wife's 3GS and my IP4 was huge, but her 3GS was clearly getting better reception on average during our trip, whereas it was the opposite pre-JETT.

What's baffling me is that over the first couple days I ran dozens of numerical signal strength tests using the field test mode in comparison to 3 other IP4s (one of which was a display model at an Apple store) and my wife's 3GS, and my JETT IP4 never showed any signal inferiority to the other phones. And yet my real world use over the last week clearly suggests otherwise.

I have experienced the SAME issues. Lots of dropped calls in the Orange County, CA and LA county areas. I just requested an return on the item. It's a shame because I really did like the style of the case although it was very slippery.

The iphone without an aluminum bumper is SOO slick! I'm back to the incase snap smoke for now...

After a solid week of using the Jett case in and around Montreal Canada, i have had no adverse effects or dropped calls. My cell signal and 3G data are very good. I have 3 aluminum cases and the Jett is the best by far for signal quality both cellular and data.

Anyone have any case-mate coupon codes? Might be willing to give this a shot, wish i had bought it back when it was $35.

Ive got a hunter green that I haven't even used yet. I'm looking to get rid of it I'll sell it for 35 plus shipping. If interested let me know.

Got mine, didn't fit, and broke on the plastic joint. Requested a replacement from Case-Mate, and they're sending a new one.

If it doesn't work out again, might just refund it. Will be looking at the Vapor knockoffs or quite possibly the e13tron cases, as it seems like a lot of people are loving theirs.

didnt have any luck with this case. also was my first aluminum case. just seen in their website. they got a new color! BLACK! looks pretty sleek..:D

Reading through this thread i was kind of nervous about the case. I payed full price $49.99 + shipping. Now that i have it, and its installed i can honestly say it was worth every penny. Here are some pictures...

You may notice there are no pictures of the back. That is because my rear glass is shattered. I have a new cover coming in the mail later this week so i can get you guys some pictures later.

When I first put it on the + button was stuck. I took it apart and put it back on and I have 0 problems. I love the way this thing looks! The only part I would have changed is I wish they sold black buttons with it.
