......well I've just fitted my Jet Case - overall fitment was quite good. It's a little tricky to get the iPhone to sit flush against the front part - had to keep adjusting while I was putting the top half on.

With the case finally on, first impressions are that it looks pretty good! My one is the grey version and I can honestly say, that with my version, there is NO green tinge whatsoever.

The phone does feel a little wider and heavier than usual but that's understandable. The only other issue is that when I shake the phone, the silent/vibrate switch rattles around - it seems to be just a fraction too small for the opening. It won't fall out but it does rattle!

I'm gonna use the case for a day and see what my feelings are with it.

.....I've also had mine on now for a day. I do like the case, however, I do have some reservations about it!*

It does add quite a bit of bulk to the iPhone 4 - I used the SGP Neo Hybrid (one of the slimmest cases ever!) prior to the Jet Case and I'm having a hard time adjusting to the new size of my phone! In the hand, it definitely feels alot wider than normal. I'm finding that I need to stretch my thumb( I'm a right handed 1 handed texter!) that little bit extra in order to hit the letters to the far left of the virtual keyboard!*

Also, as others have mentioned - the phone is DEFINATELY alot more slippery with this case on! Because the case is so smooth - I'm finding *myself having to support the bottom of the phone with my little finger (I normally grip my phone with my fingers on the left side, forefinger resting against the back and thumb free for texting and swiping!) in order to stop it from sliding through my hand (due to there being no grip and the extra weight making the phone wanting to constantly slide downwards!) Have to say that my hand starts to ache very slighty from the weight....!!!!!!!

I haven't really noticed any reception issues as of yet.*

As for the 'green tinge' issue, I thought I had escaped this, however, after
putting the case on and walking into my kitchen (I have them fluorescent long tubes for under the counter lighting) I noticed the green tinge straight away?!?! It's weird because in some light, it looks grey but in other light, it looks green?!?!

I'm gonna continue using it a while longer to see if my views change.....

Ordered mine. Should be here soon. I'm a little nervous... it seems like there are a lot of mixed reviews on the case.

I think that there was probably a bad couple of batches. When I sent my case back I was pretty unhappy, but after hearing from custoemr service that there was an issue with my case and it wasn't just me, I feel a little better.

Waiting for my replacement to come. With the holidays it probably won't be here until Monday.

Either way, the case still looks awesome. Perfomance is still up in the air.

Well, mine came in yesterday and unfortunately, it didnt fit right. My iphone is naked. The sleep wake button stays stuck when i clip the case together.
Ive tried everything and nothing doing. If i press on the sides of the case, the phone will awake or sleep! Also, the phone is always asking me to slide to turn off. believe me when i say i tried everything. The fit and or finish is faulty. Too bad really because it looked absolutely amazing on my iphone.

I purchased the grey one and the metallic gunmetal look was just what i wanted.

I asked for an RMA/exchange this morning.

I had the exact same problems with my first case, as did some other people. Replacement case fits perfectly however.

You DEFINITELY got a bad case, I've had this problem as well, request a replacement.

.....well I've now been using this case for a good few days and it's actually starting to grow on me more and more!

It gives the phone such a unique look - I'll never spot anyone with the same case! The only niggles which I have about it (which I've kinda forgotten about already!) are that the vibrate/silent switch rattles everytime I pick up the phone or put it down! Also, the case is somewhat more slippery than usual - I'm finding that I have to support the phone at the bottom with my little 'pinky' finger to stop it from dropping! Finally, the case does seem to pick up dust, when in my pocket, along the grooves between the edge of the case and the bezel of the phone but then again, what case doesn't ?!!

Just got mine today. It has a sticking power button... I emailed Case-mate but they're off for the holiday so I'm anxiously waiting for a response. For anyone else who has had this issue... Will Case-mate be much hassle or will the send me a replacement pretty easily? Do I have to send the faulty case back? Will they overnight the replacement to me?

Mine literally snapped at the plastic joints and they had no issue sending me out a replacement. Took a week total time from sending my old one back. I got the new one today.

I will not be installing this on my phone. The metal that surrounds the inner ring isn't smooth and will scratch the crap out of the plastic frame of the screen. Not only that but there are obvious scratches and just bad manufacturing flaws. The inside looks terrible. The outside looks good though.

So, when they respond back I'm straight up returning it. This is case 2 that has issues. I'm not going for three.

It seems hit or miss. You either get a perfectly manufactured one or one that has issues and there seems to be quite a few that are just flawed. Maybe a bad couple of batches.

Same problem for me as well. They gave me an RMA number but shipping was at my cost. So i simply dremmelled the power button a millimetre or so and voila! no more sticky button. Good as new and doesnt show when on the phone.

Just talked to them this morning. The representative said she had never heard of this issue and didn't even know what the sleep/wake button was on the iPhone! She thought I was talking about the volume rockers... Long story short, I eventually got them to offer to pay for shipping. I bought a new case while on the line. They gave me $15 dollars off (I had purchased my case with a coupon code), and they're sending it USPS priority free of charge (This is the shipping method I had payed for previously). They will refund the other case when they receive it. I really had to do some talking just to get this deal!

I probably should have have taken a dremmel to the button...

After testing signal, 3G Data as well as GPS and Wifi, i can honestly say this case is terrific. No noticeable loss in strenth in any of the 4 categories.

The only con i see is the slipperyness.

Case mate has a definite winner here.
Now if they can only produce this case with regularity quality (fit) wise, i dont see another aluminum case that can beat it considering all signals strenths and price.

oh noo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i hate this case!!!!!!!. everyone else pls avoid from purchasing this case. it scratched my beautiful iphone 4.. poor design. shame on your case-mate

Can someone show pics of these scratches. I am just not seeing how this happens. Mine has no issues at all, so there must be some variability in quality here. Mine fits together well. I can put it on and take it off just as fast as they show in their video. No scratches on the phone. No sticky buttons. No significant effect on signals. Just an overall great case. So there are good ones out there people. I guess that they just are not all made equal unfortunately.

On my replacement one they sent me, the area on the inside of the case (where the padding is) is sharp and obviously has manufacturing flaws/damage. The actual rim has sharp pieces that stick out and that would have scratched my phone if I put it on.

I actually cut my finger when I ran it along the inside of the rim to see if it was actually sharp. That would have ripped the plastic frame around the glass to pieces. The actual metal band seemed pretty well protected though.

I already mailed mine back after 5 minutes of looking at the replacement. When a case draws blood due to manufacturing problems, it goes back.

Ouch, that is pretty bad. Too bad to. Well, at least their customer service is top notch unlike most (not all) of the other aluminum case companies out there.

Wow! This thread has gone from great to broken to scratching to blood. Sounds like a great case....

Got my replacement! Fits great, buttons work flawlessly. Very nice case once all the problems are sorted out. I'm very pleased with the case and happy I asked for a replacement instead of a refund.

My replacement took just 3 days to be fedex delivered to the uk, amazing
In the meantime i had superglued the broken one to get a feel for the case, and the superglue solution worked great:cool:
Pros - it looks great on the phone, It retains the general look of the phone
The buttons look really slick.
I haven't had any reception issues over the past 3 days, my wifi and gps has been fine
Cons - it does make the phone feel heavier and wider, though I have to say it's not as wide as I initially thought it would be, and is slippery. Those plastic joint could have been made stronger, once the case is fitted it's not much of an issue

Conclusion, still like it, it has really grown on me and for the price you can't go wrong

So, you didn't have to return your case in order to get a replacement?
