Returning it.....case is nice looking but comes apart easily at the plastic parts. Also, the volume buttons do not align properly. I tried a few things and no go. I had no problem with the power button or mute switch. I really wanted this to work out but I guess I'll keep using the SGP Neo Hybrid matte.

hopefully they get enough returns and fix the issue. make a new batch and some more colors (white / silver )

Same I also decided to return mine. I'm not sure if anyone else case is like mine but the inside edge was rough or sharp. I noticed it scratched up the plastic surround the glass, which sucked cause the point of the case was to keep it from scratch but here it added scratches. Also the color of gray wasn't gray but more greenish which sort of was a disappointment.

if you have a luckylabs installed there's nothing for the case to scratch. basically you have to be careful setting your phone in the frame, but beyond that i saw no opportunity for damage. it's definitely less sleek than atomic and vapor, but it's basically a bumper turned metal. i'm impressed with the buttons - most other metal cases either have awkward cutouts or less refined buttons.

I agree. I don't have anything covering the bezel but I've taken the case on and off 3 times and no scratching yet. I though it was easy to install and the buttons work well. Not sure what everyone's having problems with but probably there's some defective ones. I'm going to keep testing reception but my GPS works perfect and I haven't had a dropped call since I put the case on.

Looks like I need to get some sort of dock extender to work with my music speaker dock.

Not sure which one to get:

http://www.gadgetboost.com/products/DockExtender-Boost-iPhone-iPad-iPod-Dock-Extender.html

cheaper but doesn't look as good

or

http://www.sendstation.com/us/products/dockextender/

looks nicer but more expensive.

Also don't know if either of these extenders even work with the case and dock.

Well the cheaper one works for me. I picked up a couple in different colors from BuyiJet.com & the Black One from Gadgetboost. I keep one in car, on coffee table, in jacket & w/be giving some as xMas stocking stuffers.

Its my experience that no matter what that Gadetboost.com is slow shipping unless you pay for expedited shipping or live in their neck of the woods. I ordered from them on Sunday & didn't get a shipment until the following Monday:confused:

Now both of these vendors are in San Diego, CA, they could be the same guy, nevertheless I ordered first from Gadgetboost & received only one out of two items, 2 weeks later I received the one item which they claimed they originally shipped. They made it ok & shipped me the one missing but god it took almost 3 weeks from initial order. BuyiJet, on the other hand I purchased on a Friday night past midnight my time got the six items Tuesday & all I selected was snail mail. Go figure

Whichever one you decide on "Good Luck" here are coupon codes for both Gadgetboost (GB10ff) for 10% off & Save5Off from BuyiJet for 5% off.

I don't think he was talking about the bezel which the LuckyLabs covers. I believe he was talking about the plastic border around the outside of the glass screen. Nothing protects that.

Yeah the metal bezel or antenna is fine......it's the plastic border around the glass that gets scratched up. You can feel the inside of the case, it's kinda sharp or unpolish. Maybe it's just my case or if anyone else can confirm.

Yeah, the inside of my case was pretty sharp which is what ultimately wound up scratching the antenna on my phone. Just sent mine back. Looks like Case-Mate was in a bit of a rush getting these out which might explain the jagged edges and weird discoloration that I and some other people have noticed.

How long did it take to get an RMA from Case-Mate?

I am REALLY liking this case so far. Build quality is awesome. The fit is perfect. Signal seems only slightly weaker but I haven't come across any real problems unlike with the alumacase, my last aluminum case. GPS seems slightly slower but is tracking me very accurately.

The one thing I do not like about my case is the color! This grey doesn't look like gunmetal. It just sort of looks funny, I can't describe it. Kind of has a very dark "olive green" kind of tinge to it. In certain angles it looks fine, other angles to me the olive green color looks kind of ugly.

The other thing bad about this case is that the included screen protectors are kind of crappy. They exhibit oily rainbows.

If this case could come out in either silver, black, or even white, I would be all over it.

Going to hold out for a few days and maybe exchange the case for another dark grey or another color if they come out with that.

BTW anyone know if case mate sells this case in stores??

I sent my request in on Saturday night. Heard from them Monday about noon. Sent my broken one back today.

Hopefully I get one that won't snap in half when trying to install it.

Just making sure you have the JETT case and it works with the gadgetboost extender?

How is the quality of the gadgetboost? is it sturdy? The pictures make it look so flimsy.

As I stated I got the cheap ones, they are cheap looking in comparison to the sendstation. But both Gadgetboost & BuyiJet work & are sturdy. But just like the Aluminum cases we search some are functional & some just look GR8. Gadgetboost & BuyiJet are functional, but for looks sendstation catches the eye.

Sorry I do not have the Case-Mate Jett, I'm currently using them "ONLY" on my Vapor Extreme Metals Line Frost Blood Red w/Silver Carbon Back Bumper.
