Excuse me for cluttering this thread with this kind of post. Puppers, have you received any kind of tracking information?

Has anyone received an i5 Slimline case or tracking information indicating that it's on it's way?

I received tracking information but its been stuck on "Electronic Shipping Info Received" since midday March 26. This would indicate it has not yet been picked up. My order number very low so I would expect shipment by now.

Casemachine, if you are monitoring the forum, please pass on any information that will help. I'm sorry if there are problems with shipping but information will help keep me calm.

I was told I received it yesterday (shipped to work) but I am out of town until next Sunday.

As they did say in a direct fb message that their shipping notification via PayPal is broken. I am upset but understand at same time. Nothing I can do about it. I've ordered stuff from amazon that took like 7 days to even actually ship. Lol. Anyway I know that gobluejd ordered one as well and ny guess is he will have one reviewed beginning of week.

Excuse me for asking, but what city do you live in? Did you get any tracking information? I'm just trying to figure out why yours arrived before mine. I could be I'm all the way across the country and usps tracking could be completely useless considering I got a tracking number and nothing else. Who told you you got it Casemachine, USPS or someone where you work?

I live in sterling hts. But I can not say with certainty that I got it for sure as I just got an email saying a package was put on my desk. Again I don't really care now that I am gone for a week

Michigan right?

FYI I emailed who put it on my desk and they said it was about 12x12x12 so based on the pics on fb I saw, I did not get it yet. Sorry.

It may be the box, big outer box to protect the nice inner box. They said they would ship yours Wednesday. They responded to me and shipping Monday. I'm OK with that.

As I mentioned before I am on vacation. I was too anxious to wait until next week so I had my secretary send to me. I have been using it since yesterday and love it. I can not believe how thin this is. I contacted gobluejd on YouTube and he is going to have a review up on his channel probably tomorrow. He told me he has the BLUE, RED and ORANGE along with Black Carbon and Silver Carbon Fiber Backplates. So since I am on vacation and do not want to sit here all day doing a review I snapped a few pics for you guys. I will be in and out all day and can chime in every few minutes if needed to answer some questions - but remember I am on vacation :D

Here are a few comments:

When first putting on I noticed that the the right lower side TPU was separating from the Aluminum. I contacted them and they told me that the case has 2 suspended ribs that are PURPOSELY not connected to the Aluminum and serves as elasticity to stretch the case on. Which looking at now make sense. Here is a pic of what I mean.

The indentions where you fingers would be when holding (button area and lower right side) feels perfect. I like that way this feels.

Although it may appear to be flimsy when holding in hand prior to putting on the case, I can assure you when it is on the case it is tight and feels like part of the phone. I got the Black Carbon Backing on mine. It adheres to the back of the phone and is reusable.

Also I have the Spigen GlasT.R on mine (with aluminum home button) and works no problem.

There was allot of detailed engineering that went in this to make it fit the way it does. I am happy with this case. :)

lol. Quality looks terrible. And the way they handled the late shipment was/is horrible. Threatening a customer to either cancel his paypal dispute or be sent to the back of the line??? WOW!

Made in the USA.

Way to represent, guys...

puppers: mine still hasn't shipped. it looks like the TPU at the plugs is a bit flimsy even when installed. Is that true? Does it bother you?

Just stumbled across this thread when I was looking up contact info for Casemachine. I too ordered in early March and have yet to receive mine. Got the electronic shipping notification on 3/26 and still have not seen anything from CaseMachine (in the form of the case or any sort of communication for the delay). Guess I'm stuck in the same boat as many of you....

Signal Loss with Carbon Fiber Backplate

Unfortunately, pretty substantial LTE and WiFi signal interference, but not from the case. I noticed at work this morning after receiving my i5 Slimline last night. I normally have 4 to 5 bars in the office, but it was down to 2 bars today. Same deal at home, so I took the case off (just the bumper, thinking it was the aluminum accents). No difference. So I took the carbon fiber backplate off and my signal returned to normal. Performed a test to confirm: -102 with backplate, -91 without it.

Not surprising at all. Known problem.

Loving the way it looks from the pics from their website but after seeing the real thing pretty disappointed. The bottom rubber is too flimsy and this rubber material will stretch and becomes very loose after a few months on the phone.

It's funny about computer generated images. They can be enhanced to look great. The ones on their site are really beefed up, putting highlights where they would never be. It's done to look super glossy. The edges are all sharp and crisp and straight. There is not attempt at realism. Unfortunately I was fooled into thinking they would try harder to achieve that look.

I got my Slimline i5 today due to great service help from a Casemachine employee named Allyn. The case surprised me with how good it looks once it's on the phone. It seemed flimsy because its so thin, but it works and takes shape on the phone. I have the black and silver on a white phone. I am using an Element case Attack carbon fiber back with it.

my previous post wasn't exactly accurate about the looks.

Is the bottom by the ports really flimsy? From what I have heard it's pretty loose. Also I see that you show the Db instead of the bars for your signal strength. Just curious how you were able to get that to show instead. Thanks.

It is flimsy but it doesn't bother me. The thin strips stay in place just fine and cover the bevels. The corners are the most vulnerable. The bottom allows all connectors to be used.

Here's an explanation on how to change bars to Db and make it stay if you want. Easy, no jailbrake. http://www.neowin.net/news/how-strong-is-your-iphone-signal-no-jailbreak-required
