The custom AirPods Max will be available in white and black, with each color offered "in a single piece worldwide," suggesting that the headphones may be quite exclusive. In the words of Caviar, the pure gold design apparently "looks elegant, emphasizing the status of the owners and their impeccable taste," for people who "want to always be on top."
Well... There are people on here that claim to have 7 figure salaries, and I imagine the complaints they originally had about the AirPod Max price was that it simply wasn't high enough for them.First of all, I can't figure out why this is relevant enough to post about on MacRumors. I mean, it's not that interesting to most users unless they are stupidly rich and looking for stupid ways to waste their money.
Second, if somebody was going tp spend $100k plus to cover their Apple product in gold, you'd think they'd at least not have a "caviar" logo on their new product, which just looks stupid and ugly. I wonder if they will even sell one of these.
It's the "NOTICE ME!" accessory for the cheesiest of travelers. Not luxurious at all. Just tacky.
Hey, if they manage to sell these, I respect their ability to separate rich people from their money.Rather than being a company that sells actual luxury goods to the actual wealthy, Caviar and its products seem to be conceived from an almost ironic POV of what "rich people are like" as depicted in pop culture (see also: Scrooge McDuck literally swimming in piles of gold). So either Caviar et al are completely clueless, or are delightfully cynical and have a real sense of humor. If it's the latter, I tip my top hat to them.
How else would they show off how classy and rich they are? Honestly 99% of the things the super rich buy are downright ugly lol.Not again........
I simply can't understand why would anyone be purchasing from them when literally most (if not all) of their designs were horrible.........
Guess money can't buy you taste and sensibility![]()
In the words of normal sane people, the pure gold design "looks hideous, emphasizes the stupidity of the owners and their complete lack of taste," for people who "want to look stupid in the eyes of everyone else."In the words of Caviar, the pure gold design apparently "looks elegant, emphasizing the status of the owners and their impeccable taste," for people who "want to always be on top."
We’re obviously not their target market.First of all, I can't figure out why this is relevant enough to post about on MacRumors. I mean, it's not that interesting to most users unless they are stupidly rich and looking for stupid ways to waste their money.

I'm still rocking my Series O Apple Watch - then again mine is only aluminumWell that’s silly. However while this is gen 1 product, it won’t see yearly significant upgrades like the gen 0 Apple watches. Those who spent that absurd amount for a gold one are sitting on a super outdated model that can’t do anything today. Then again, those who spent the money probably don’t care and upgrade whenever they want.
