Produce what?
Well there’s more to it than that, they have custom stamping, there’s custom fabrication on top of the headphones with the ‘engraving ring’ circling around the head base, obviously they probably had a demo pairs to test run these, so there is some manufacturing involved just behind ‘dip and shining’.

Those are majorly ugly. So ugly, that they would have to pay me $108,000 just to use them. And even then I am not sure if that would be enough money.

Sorry I don’t see it, this is a small run item. All doable with a laser engraver, CNC mill and cloth/leather workers.
Not very difficult especially from a company that has a workshop that has “blinged” other items in the past and at the asking price money isn’t going to be that tight.

Well that’s silly. However while this is gen 1 product, it won’t see yearly significant upgrades like the gen 0 Apple watches. Those who spent that absurd amount for a gold one are sitting on a super outdated model that can’t do anything today. Then again, those who spent the money probably don’t care and upgrade whenever they want.
The gen 0 can today do everything it did when you first bought it, plus everything enabled in the subsequent OS upgrades available to it. I used mine over night right up until until I got the version 6. It is super outdated but when OS updates ceased for it, it did not stop working. Would be weird to have an expensive gold watch just for sleeping with though!

Poor people will always complain , rich people will always dont give a damn

Thing is, “most” rich have some common sense when it comes to money and don’t waste it on stupid things.
I know someone worth millions that drives 15 year old Honda and shops at goodwill and I also know someone that drives a Lexus that lives in a trailer park.

Not again........

I simply can't understand why would anyone be purchasing from them when literally most (if not all) of their designs were horrible.........

Guess money can't buy you taste and sensibility:rolleyes:
Exclusivity. Having something that most people don't or can't afford.

WOW - They do look really amazing.

Please invest in my new... "I want a AirPod Max Gold Fund"... I guarantee no returns on investment... except for my gold ears.

The best part is that it probably only costs a few thousand dollars in materials to manufacture.

Edit: I looked it up, and gold electroplating could cost less than $200 USD.

Do you actually know any billionaires? Yeah, neither do I.

I do know a few “rich” people though, and they wouldn’t be caught dead owning something as tacky as this.

Stuff like this will be bought by rich Saudi teenagers and used a couple times in front of their friends, then tossed in a drawer or closet.
I know one, I worked for him for 28 years, and there is not a snowballs chance in hell he would ever look twice at crap like this. But you would never know what he was worth if you were to meet him.

In the unlikely chance they actually sell one of these for the asking price, it will be on the balding head of a potbellied russky mafiya oligarch. No where else.

Whew, only $108,000!
When I first saw the headline I was afraid these were going to cost me $180,000.

The tacky logo plastered on the side really seals the deal for me. Sold!

Well, the guy you worked for probably earned his money. There's a big difference between people who work hard for their fortunes and people who have fortunes thrown in their laps. I would bet the people likely to buy those headphones are part of the latter group.

It's the same reason why most people who win the lottery have nothing to show for it in five years.
