I wanted to get a ceramic Apple Watch 2 (or Edition, or whatever its called). But what band can I get with that that actually matches the white color?

I hate the sports band, but that's the only band that comes in white. For all the other bands, if I got something such as the "Saddle Brown Classic Buckle" band - is it possible to get the metal part (the part that actually attaches to the watch) in white instead of silver?

I'd imagine that the black Milanese loop and Space Black link bracelet would coordinate well with it.

Wait a little while and you can probably find aftermarket lugs in white. Aftermarket manufacturers will start making compatible bands for the all white ceramic, and Apple will eventually expand the new Edition collection to include more models.

The Leather Loop and Woven Nylon bands would probably work well as the lugs on them are coloured like the bands themselves. For a while Apple was selling a white Leather Loop which would probably look quite nice.

The reason I passed on the ceramic was the lack of bands. Instead, I preordered the Hermes but it was a close thing. So close that I went in to my local Apple store Friday to play. They had the ceramic but not the Hermes. But I tried the ceramic on almost all bands including the black Milanese loop, the stainless buckle, several woven and several leather. IMO, it looked best on it's own band. It could work on others, but I wouldn't. Lol. We drew quite a crowd. Most of the males liked a few of the combos but the females seemed to be unconvinced. We all thought that Apple would most likely add more ceramic friendly bands later but since I already have about half a dozen bands, I'm staying with the Hermes.

Would look great with midnight blue leather and sport band for sure. Same for black bands of all varieties.

Tried on the ceramic today. It was definitely nice. A lot of bands do work (leather loops, sport bands, nylon, black SS link or black Milanese), but I don't think the SS bands or straps with the stainless lugs look that great (though that's my opinion).

I think I'm going to stick with SS myself. The white ceramic definitely looks sharp, and I absolutely love the press shots of it, but for some reason in person it doesn't do it for me.

I think the Cermamic would look especially great with the black or white sport band or product red sport band (Space Black looks great in product red band)

I just picked up a ceramic today at the Apple Watch store in selfridges.

It's a bit light coming from a 42 mm Hermes.

I find myself enamored with the new white ceramic Watch Edition, but band selection seems limited. Given that many of Apple's accessory bands include stainless steel hardware, I'm thinking it'll clash with the white ceramic at the point where band meets watch body. So that would essentially leave only sport and nylon bands (and I don't know that I'd want the nylon style on such a nice version of the Watch).

This isn't unlike the Space Black Stainless Steel when originally launched. And while there are a few more "style compatible" bands for Space Black today, it remains limited.

Any thoughts on this? I suppose I'm hoping someone will convince me that the white ceramic Watch will look good with a leather loop, milanese band, etc.

Thanks!

This one works for me http://www.amazon.com/top4cus-Adjustable-Magnetic-Replacement-Bracelet/dp/B01E149OY8 , looks classy and of good quality. I use the Apple supplied sports band when I work out so not to get this one dirty unnecessarily. Hold color nicely...

I tried one of those third party leather loops before, I immediately returned it. For those that are super picky about quality these are not for you. They look AND feel cheap, the buckle doesn't hold very securely and it wiggles too much. There's a reason why official Apple ones cost so much, I've yet to find a third party retailer that can match the precision and quality of Apple's bands. I've tried dozens, especially when I was in Asia. Basically any third party band you see on Amazon can be found at tech accessory stores in the streets there.

I love my ceramic watch, if I'm spending so much on the watch it would be silly to degrade it with something so cheap. :/

That is not true at all.
That's butt ass ugly.

I don't know you but please let me save you from ridicule, embarrassment, insult an possible damage to your self esteem.
Don't hesitate on the offer as it won't last long. I am will to sacrifice for you. Send me that watch and band and you shall spare yourself from ill will.

Best Buy has some of the stainless steel white leather loops discounted for $350. I'm going to buy one and sell off the Watch with a different band. I think the white loop will look nice with it.

I also want the black steel band. I think it works well with that combo.

Yeah the black SS is my favorite band for mine.

Unless he is a Stormtrooper or a waiter/butler then no, a white body and black strap are not very fashionable. It's jarring like wearing black shoes and white socks. Wrong!
