I am getting annoyed.
I ordered 30/11 in the first minutes and it is STILL processing and delivery date is 3rd-9th January

And there are alot of people who ordered later but their iMacs are on the way.

Why??

Are you in the UK, as looking through a number of lists it would appear generally we in the UK are taking a little longer for BTO's than the rest of the world.

Just my two pennyworth:confused:

I called end of last week to pay the extra money and upgrade to expedited shipping. I was told she couldn't upgrade my shipping. Today I thought I'd try again and this time the CSR upgraded the shipping free of charge. New ship date Dec27-Jan3. Though she does expect it to ship this week. :)

Original order, Nov 30. BTO, i5, 3TB Fusion

I called this afternoon and was told they can not upgrade shipping for items that are sent from overseas - I said I was confused because to my knowledge apple don't actually build ANYTHING in the UK it's all shipped in, she said that was correct and therefore you can only have standard delivery in the UK. I quoted the information on the website -

And was told that does not apply to iMacs

I kinda got the impression I was not getting the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth:rolleyes:

Still, heres hoping it arrives in the next couple of weeks.:)

I wonder what is holding some of us up? It seems several i7's have shipped, so that probably isn't it. I see quite a few 3TB fusion's in the waiting. I wonder if that is the delay. Mine also has the 675MX and the wired keyboard with number pad. Anyone else with any of these still waiting? Any with these options shipped?

That really sucks, considering BTO people that ordered later than you are shipping already...

P.S. Still Processing, ordered 4th/5th Dec...

Sorry I didn't update my status in this thread!

Mine changed from "Processing" to "Preparing for shipment" yesterday! :)

BUT it hasn't changed for almost 36 hours.

How long do you think it'll take to change from "Preparing for shipment" to "shipped"?

I thought it would just take like 24 hours to ship...

it can even already been shipped, sometimes Apple didn't mark it as shipped directly...

Mine is due jan 3-8 th and is now saying preparing for shipment !

Any idea after that day it says to the day it's shipped then delivered ?

When did you order and your config ?

I ordered mine around noon on nov 30 th. hopefully it will be there before estimated delivery date

I had a bto maxed everything even the ram. 3 tb fusion I do a lot of home videos or needed room for editing. Can't wait

Starting to think they lost the order...

Ordered November 30th... Still processing... :(

3.4GHz Quad-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.9GHz
8GB 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM - 2x4GB
1TB Fusion Drive
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2GB GDDR5

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wouldn't a "Maxed everything" be a 768 SSD.
And not a 3 TB Fusion?

Well Yes if you want to pay for that SSD which is quite expensive but if you read the second half of my sentance it said "I do a lot of home videos or needed room for editing" So a 768 would not equal a lot of room.

as I have a 500 gig mac pro and cannot edit my video because of the room. So yes to me a 3tb Fusion is maxed out as in the most room I can get !

thanks whitey

Orderer Dec. 1 - Thailand
Changed to Preparing for Shipment today. I sure hope it doesn't take 3 - 4 weeks to actually ship!

They estimated in the mail delivery Jan. 2.

Hope sooner.. To many red-days now during christmas and im not sure they work/ship on these days here in Sweden.

Maxed 27" (not ram)

Finally on its way!

It's coming! It's coming! Just shipped today via UPS with arrival date listed as Christmas Eve.

I5 3.2, 8GB RAM, 1TB Fusion, 680MX, Trackpad. Ordered 8pm Nov. 30 with projected delivery date given as Dec. 31 - Jan. 7. Looks like Apple's going to beat their projection by 1-2 weeks. It's going to be a very merry Christmas indeed!

Finally at long last! Prepared for Shipment.

Ordered on 1 Dec (Australia) and woke up this morning to "Prepared for Shipment" at last!
