Change shipping address?

I ordered an iPhone 7 128 gig in Jet Black AT&T fully unlocked. It's Wednesday morning and it still says "Preparing for Shipment". Has anyone received a tracking number?

Per my post above, my order status is still Preparing for Shipment, but I found the tracking number in UPS My Choice.

I just signed up and found mine too!

Well, I've come to the reality that my shipping address will not be changed to my work address based on my UPS My Choice discovery above. I'll be working from home on Friday.

When will our orders go from Preparing for Shipment to Shipped? The pending charge on my credit card posted yesterday, 9/12.

For anyone who was able to getting a shipping address request sent to Apple's shipping department, here are some details that I got through Apple chat:

• I do see that our Shipping Team here at Apple has received your address correction and the will be working with the carrier that will be delivering your iPhone to make sure they receive the updated address.

• I apologize if you were told on Friday that this address correction would appear on https://www.apple.com/orderstatus — a request of this nature is an internal request between Apple and the carrier, so I’m afraid this address correction will never appear on https://www.apple.com/orderstatus.
  
• I assure you though that this has already been submitted and is being handled according. I can see the notes from the Shipping Team in my system here and they have seen the request.

I received similar info. I was also told that an email confirm would be sent once the address has been changed. With that being said, since my package is already enroute to my home address according to UPS My Choice, it's probably too late for the address to be changed to my work address. Or is it not too late?

I was on Apple’s customer service chat and they confirmed that the address change was submitted to UPS. I didn’t see the change reflected in my online tracking, so I called UPS. They said that Apple has an agreement with UPS where the address can be changed while the package is in route. They also said that my tracking should be updated by tomorrow morning when the package arrives at the local hub. There is a slim that the address change to re-route the package can delay the delivery by one business day. I’m not sure about all of this. Can anyone confirm this?

Pretty sure it would do delivery exception for a changed address. The problem is I don't want the package to go to my local hub - that's too far from where the new address is! haha

Also keep in mind that delivery exceptions can delay delivery of the package. I have a backup plan, but need to confirm where the package is going.

Me too. UPS tells me they haven't heard anything from Apple. They also tell me they have been given strict instructions from Apple to not change the address (when the phone was initially shipped, this is unrelated to my request). So that's fun...

My package arrived at the local UPS hub and status is destination scan. Hopefully the addesss change goes through before package out for delivery and status goes to delivery exception.
