So...if Charlie makes $3 million per episode and they make say 20 episodes per year, he should be taking home $60 million of that $100 million? Really? What does Jon Cryer get to take home, let alone the rest of the people who work on the show?
 
I feel bad for the rest of the cast and crew that are now not receiving a paycheck because of Sheen's idiocy. :mad:

I didn't say he should get more money. I said CBS will probably bring the show back because it make them so much money.

Reports are Cryer gets $1 million per. These figures include what they make on syndication too.

The that would bring the total between them to $80 million, which leaves everyone else with $20 million. That hardly seems OK or reasonable. There are a lot more people to pay and after that, what's left? I'd tell the guy to take a hike, especially with all the trouble he's caused.
 
Come on, almost the entire show takes place inside his fake house, so that couldn't cost much. And as the show is pretty much about his life, the script writes itself. ;)

I think he just gave the show another 3 years worth of material. The man has poetry and magic at his fingertips!

The show is filmed at and owned by Warner Brothers so I assume the production costs are eaten in with the rest of the studio. Not sure if the crew gets anything above union wage.
 
Others have touched on this as well, but here's what Charlie said in one of his latest interviews:

...“I’m not angry, I’m passionate,” Sheen told Rossen. “It’s everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back, and I’m just going to forewarn them that it’s everybody else that’s going to be begging me for their job back.”...

In the interview with Rossen, which was taped Sunday in Sheen’s Beverly Hills home, the actor accused Lorre of “trying to destroy my family.” He also again took aim at Alcoholics Anonymous, calling it a failed system developed by a “broken-down fool that was a plagiarist.” He claimed he has conquered his own drug and alcohol problems by the sheer force of his will: “I closed my eyes and made it so.”

After checking himself out of rehab, Sheen set up his own home rehab facility called “Sober Valley Lodge,” from which the principles of A.A. had been banned. “I will not believe that if I do something then I have to follow a certain path, because it was written nice,” he said. “It was written for normal people, people that aren’t special. People that don’t have tiger blood, you know, Adonis DNA.”

He dismissed the idea that he has anything in common with addicts and alcoholics, who he says lack his strength of character, describing them as “fools, trolls. Weak. Defeated. They allowed defeat to be an option. I will not.

“I’m tired of pretending like I’m not special,” Sheen continued. “I’m tired of pretending like I’m not bitching, a total fricking rock star from Mars, and people can’t figure me out; they can’t process me. I don’t expect them to. You can’t process me with a normal brain.”..

Sheen accused his producers, Lorre in particular, of trying to destroy him and his family by “trying to take all my money, and leave me with no means to support my family. It’s not rocket science, you know?”...

Rather than apologizing, Sheen said it was he who was owed an apology, by CBS: “A big one. While licking my feet.”

Okay, this is past the point where it's funny. This man has some very serious mental issues. He's starting to out-crazy Gadhafi -- and that's not easy.
 
Two weeks ago the dude was going wide open doing "7 gram rocks" as he admits ... he's bound to be pretty strange acting about now ... especially if he's drug free according to the drug test he did on air.

Overdose or suicide wouldn't surprise me, he hasn't ruled out doing drugs again, actually sounds like he looks forward to it ...

Delusional and having a meltdown for sure, very sad.

Chemicals are bad.
 
Okay, I can actually understand this (below) being the front page of CNN this morning:

CNN often places a "soft news" feature up front, and Gadhafi is definitely the hard news story of the day. So I think this is as much coincidence as it is clever planning.

What I can't condone is what's in the text of the Sheen article. Obviously Piers Morgan interviewed him last night. How can we put this gently...? STOP INTERVIEWING CHARLIE SHEEN. By now we've all read about the TMZ interview or the Today show interview, enough for everyone to realize that the man is having a full-blown psychotic breakdown. He's not there for our amusement. The fact that the media keep on interviewing him, hoping he'll say more and more bizarre things, is getting really revolting.
 
Over the years, Sheen has shown himself to be pretty volatile. But that being said, Chuck Lorre is also a piece of work. What's funny, but not surprising, is how in many ways the two guys are similar.

Sure, Charlie has had great success with this show and was in some high profile movies, and sure Chuck Lorre has been at the helm of some high profile projects, but somewhere along the way, nobody told either of these men they were not God.

Anyway, it will be interesting, yet predictable, to see this war of words back and forth. I don't think the world would miss Sheen or Lorre leaving Hollywood.

I heard some radio jocks this morning say that they think this whole Charlie Sheen thing is a bit. Kinda like the whole Joaquin Phoenix thing or a radio shock jock who just goes way over the top. Of course the partying and lifestyle is real, but they were talking about this present media tour and the crazy talk he's spouting. It all equals more publicity for him, the network, and the show.

After thinking about it this explanation sounds pretty reasonable. If it's not that, then as many have said he's had a break with reality of some sort and the eventual end is not going to be pretty.

All you need to do is look at him to know that it's not a show. He definitely wants publicity, but I don;t think it's going to get him the results he wants. Most people I know are horrified and of the opinion that he just ruined his career. I have to agree.

Just a little before my time, but I've seen specials on Kaufman that talk about how far he took it and that even his closest friends were confused at times. Some say that for him it was like a master joke he was playing on the entire world.

This is Hollywood we're talking about here. Sheen is hardly through. Look at Robert Downey Jr and Lindsay Lohan. They don't operate in the real world out there.
