Chinese Firm Makes Knockoff 'iPhone 5' From Mockups

The 'goo phone'.. Seriously. 😱

If you're gonna rip them off (and that phone does look like a pretty good copy) why ruin it with such a stupid name. At least they didn't rip off Apple's marketing 🙂

I'm sure more Chinese eyes have seen the new iPhone than western ones. Considering they are already supposed to be making millions of them over there.
 
heads need to roll regarding all of the leaked parts. foxconn and/or part manufacturers should have their contracts terminated as a result of all of the leaks. the chinese, koreans, etc copy, steal, fake, rip-off, its just what they do. from purses to clothing to electronics, to phones, to cars, to ... everything! they are thieves. no innovation, no imagination, no engineering, no design accumen, nothing! they leave it to the americans to do that, and then just steal it. pathetic!
 
Oh my gosh this is going to be the most boring keynote ever!!!! 😡 What could they possibly talk about that we haven't know or seen for months?😕

I've been looking for iPhone parts and Android OS. The Tegra 3 version that comes out in 2 months will be mine! I will have an iPhone 5 as well so thats not really unethical... is it? 😛
 
So when the iPhone 5 comes out and looks like this I guess the Chinese company should sue Apple for copying their design.

The only thing I'm laughing at is your grammar. Get a grip. There are bad things about every country, if you don't look past the bad you want find the good. The U.S. isn't all bad.

I just cannot believe that there are still people that think that this isn't what the new iPhone will look like... Can you say.. Denial?
 
Another knock off - so what? Try it for a good laugh.

In March I was in Shanghai. A friend bought (against my objection) a phone that was called 'iPhone 5' (in March!). It was about rmb 1200 or so, that's below $200 . This sounds cheap, but $200 for a piece of **** is still too much.

The specs (as far as I can recall it):

Size was similar to Samsung Note (= huge!)
Icons similar to iOS
30% of the icons had no function, they were just 'icons'
Dual SIM
Poor speech quality
Poor batt life

No way I would buy any of those no-name-knock-offs - for no price. For a low cost phone I bought a Nokia Lumia 800 (and love it). $200 should also have a few nice Android option (but not anything with a 4.** I guess).

I believe that the market for those knock-offs is very small. I never heard anyone saying that they were satisfied.
