Woz & Jobs Excellent Adventure

I think Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves should be Woz and Jobs and play them like they did in Bill & Ted.

"Hey Steve that's like a TOTALLY cool computer dude."
"Like, totally thanks other Steve."
"Rock on dude!"
--Key Apple ][ disk drive sounds--

The only similarities these celebrities have with steve jobs is their facial hair. It's the exact same thing with ashton kutcher.

I vote for this guy. Looks like Jobs and a much better actor than Ashton Kutcher.
(Almost anyone is a better actor than Kutcher though).

Say one thing about Kutcher -- the resemblance was amazing.
Only if you're blind. Kutcher looked nothing like Jobs.

If this were Apple...

If Apple were doing the Steve Jobs movie... they would have done it once and gotten it right. How many versions of the movie do we need until they get it right?

This is that movie, since they don't make movies themselves. It has everything from the most highly regarded people in their fields, namely Sorekin, Fletcher and now hopefully Bale.

Didn't the last Jobs movie bomb? Why make another?

It bombed because it was a silly overdramatic rush job. Jobs was a colorful enough character with an interesting life. A well written, well cast, well acted movie could attract a general audience. I don't know if THIS one is it, but I wouldn't cast aspersions on the Job biopic concept based on one flop staring Ashton Kucher.

YES! YES YES!!!!!! This is another vital step in ensuring the epicness of this film :apple::)

Well, he's certainly got the "blowing up at the staff" thing down :p

(Yes yes, just the one incident I know. I'm sure he's a great person. I still think Jobs was a good guy despite the stories as well. Fact is it still happened though and it's still an inevitable and somewhat amusing thought when considering Bale as Jobs)

Forget people who think a movie will be good because a producer/director base their choice on look a likes.

He is an amazing actor.

I don't see the resemblance other than being Caucasian but this should be waaay better than the kutcher disaster.

Steve Jobs wasn't a caucasian.

/edit: depending on how you define caucasian, I assume you mean 'white'

That was a Ashton Kutcher movie, Not a Jobs movie.

This is the officially licensed Steve Jobs movie based on Walter Isaacson's Biography.

Garbage in, Garbage Out. It will be nice to have a film made by those at the top of the film industry willing to spend the time, money and energy required to get the best product possible. Kutcher's "Jobs" was a rushed and poorly researched money grab in my opinion. It was painful to watch and did a disservice to Jobs and Apple's legacy.

If the movie is done tastefully, is pro-Apple, and very positive towards Steve Jobs and his limitless achievements then it will do very well at the theatres. But if it's seen to be another hater hatchet job then it will flop no matter who plays the starring roles. Consumers don't want to see the achievements of an industry icon belittled. And they don't want to see a company they love and respect trashed for the purposes of cheap entertainment.

Yes really. I've seen the movie and nothing like Jobs. Just so unbelievable. Noah Wyle also looked nothing like Jobs but he did a much better version of acting as Jobs. in the way of Wyle gets a B- for his Jobs and Kutcher gets a D (at the very most) for his Jobs.
