hmm, I'm not fond of this design actually. too round-ish and the position of the camera in combination with the stripes is just weird.
Remember, these are Mockups. And Mockups are always stinking cheesy.

Why? I mean... If you're going to throw stuff out there, might as well have reasoning/something to back it up. There were just as many mock-ups out last year, tbh.
As for me, I'm quite looking forward to this new phone, and the lines don't particularly bother me. It looks like they blend in pretty well with their surroundings. When the iPhone 5 came out I'm pretty sure people were wary about the look of it if I recall correctly! People preferred the 'classic' look of the 4S.
the music in the video makes this legit. I remember i saw a video last year with the same music and the leak turned out to be true, so i'm going by that.
Those. Thick. Bands.
Such a shame the iPod Touch looks way better than this.
Well, for once, a nice cover might actually improve the look.
could it be that there's a light up logo?![]()
I'll pick whichever one with least obvious of that shameful thick lines ...

I think the problem with this design, if it really is the iPhone 6, which is looking more and more likely - is that the breaks are so thick. You don't need a them to be that thick to decouple the antenna from the body. If they were thin they wouldn't look so hideous.
This design really spells the end of my love affair with the iPhone. It just looks tacky. I can't imagine carrying that!
Steve Jobs will be rolling in his grave...
It us just astonishing how bad the design is. I had to join this forum just to post my view I am so shocked by it.
Of course function is important but on the basis of design HTC and Samsung - never mind Nokia have come up with stylish designs for their latest phones but the iPhone 6 just looks revolting. I would be ashamed to be seen holding THAT!
And I'm not trolling...been loyal to iPhones since 3 queuing up in the rain for the new phones but not this time.....
All of the iPhone 6 Mockup/Leaks/Etc that have been posted here show the flash on the back as NOT being the True Tone flash, but the older circular single LED flash. Why would Apple put the older flash in the newer body?!?!? Has anyone else noticed this??? That's why I have to claim FALSE on this "leaked" back videos/photos.
Did anyone think that the iPhone 5 with it's antenna cut-outs looked better than iPhone 4/4s before it actually came out? No.
Does anyone complain about the cut-outs anymore? No.
Why? The real thing always looks better than the leaks and the oddness of the new turns to plain and familiar lightning fast. And desirable too, once all your buddies have the newer model and you're still using that two year old historical relic from the angular period...
I have always wondered about the lines.
If you look at the leaked schematics, you' ll notice that the materials from the seams are the same as the frontside of the phone.
Look at this, this looks beautiful and they have a point.

You cannot be serious if you just implied plastic samsung has better design than apple.
----------
Yes..the latest models looks a better design - plastic or no plastic. A design is more than a material. !
I love these "I hate the band on the back" threads. Seriously? Who cares about the back
Just want a bigger, thinner phone with cool features. Buy, buy, buy!
Certainly wouldn't describe a phone as beautiful but that is far more coherent and Id buy. Based on the other mockups Id stick with a 5S.I have always wondered about the lines.

We're going to double down on secrecy on products. I'm serious.

Too much top and bottom bezel as well. The iPhone doesn't need symmetrical top and bottom bezels. They'd better make it bezel-free on the sides this time around.
What exactly is the point of posting this comment on nearly every thread?![]()

when you start flipping the phone more often to use landscape yes you do. I see using landscape more with a larger phone don't you? With the current phone i rarely ever use landscape its too cluttered.
As someone who has owned phones with big (iPhone) and small (Moto X) bezels, I can say without hesitation that small bezels are much more practical. Better thumb reach and smaller form factor in a pocket are much more important to me. When I do hold it in landscape mode, my thumbs naturally lay on the rounded edges anyway - no part of the screen is covered. That's actually a complaint I have with my iPad... my thumbs naturally lay on the sharp metal edges, so it gets uncomfortable after a while.
