Come on, I need to leaked parts of a bezeless MacBook Pro screen with a notch and Face ID

Really? I'm all for Macs getting Face ID, but do you actually want them to have notches as well? It's bad enough (but tolerable) on a phone, but a notch at the top of a Mac display would be really distracting!

The current MacBook bezels (ignoring the Air) are already thin enough!

I just hope they don't dumb down the 5.8" model this year. I don't want a gooberish phone.

Sadly history shows that they like to put something extra in the bigger Phone, even though it probably wouldn't need it to sell well...

Certainly made it easier for me to buy the X last year, because i knew that there was no annoying Plus Model (too big for me) with a better camera or whatever ;)

LG are well known for their top quality mobile OLED displays. These are going to be great.

Said no-one.
You do realise Apple makes it how they want it right? It’s not just as simple as putting it on a phone. Same with Samsung panel. Apple made it how they wanted it.

Bigger, and bigger, and bigger... Come on Apple! Give us a 4,7" iPhone X!

Yeah, definitely. And I think this is for real, there are so many voices claiming the 6,5" size for a long time, and now this pictures that seem pretty legit (even though they are not blurry). We are going to have iPhablets

With a Mac already in my home I can sell my iPad Pro! If this actually is true I guess I I’ll now how devices I actually use all the time lol

So, you already know without them being on the market yet, applause for a time traveller.

It’s funny how companies Apple taps step their game up..I would be PISSED if I were an LG phone user and the OLED screen from LG is better on an iPhone

The X is certainly not tiny, especially being it’s more narrow and longer. But the X does feel much smaller in the hand than I expected when I first handled it. But by all means, I think the iPhone rumored X Plus Will be highly anticipated, but the price point will be interesting to see where it falls in line.

I have a feeling the so called "iPhone Xs Plus" or whatever it is going to be called is going to be ridiculously expensive. I mean, Apple has no reason to drop the prices because both storage tiers of the iPhone X sold like crazy when first launched. So that tells Apple that people are willing to dish that kind of money out for an iPhone.

Obviously just a guess, but I would say the starting price will be around $1,400! Highest capacity $1,550? I cannot see them going around like $1,650 or $1,700...I do not think people will pay that much. I certainly would not.

Tim and time will tell. ;)

:apple:

It’s pretty obvious that the screen to notch ratio will be different lol. The ‘X Plus’ will be wider than X and so will be the screen, but the notch doesn’t have to get bigger, neither will it shrink. Interesting though, whether more screen estate in the ‘ears’ will finally allow for displaying more information.

At least one rumor has, however, claimed the second-generation iPhone X could have a smaller notch, so we shouldn't necessarily expect the notch-to-display proportions to be the same between iPhone X generations.
I believe somebody just got that confused with the "X Plus", which will have the same size notch but an overall bigger display and thus bigger "ears", making the notch appear smaller proportionally.
The 2nd gen 5.8" iPhone X however will have just the same screen layout as the current one, same notch, same ears.

A 6.5" phone? Wow! That would be huge.
If you call a phone with the outer dimensions of the iPhone 6/7/8 Plus huge, sure. The iPhone X has almost the same width and height as the iPhone 6/7/8. It is only natural to assume that the iPhone X Plus will follow that pattern and will have pretty much the same outer dimensions as the current 'Plus' iPhones.

Get rid of the notch please!
Paint the ears black and there is no notch anymore.

Intriguing...

Do rumors typically start this early? I’ve never paid attention before until late July/August timeframe. Then again, this is essentially a new product and Apple could be making sure there won’t be the same shortage woes for components that occurred with the X. I’m sure there will be shortage issues anyway, but still. If this rumor is true, it could also point to the fact that the X Plus was already in the works, it just wasn’t ready for a 2017 release. Kuo did seem to know the lineup of the next versions of the iPhones pretty quickly after this most recent launch.

Will see how the rumors continue. It is still very early to me.

I have no doubt it will.

Battery percentage, carrier name, and AM/PM will all be there again. Full landscape and multitasking mode as well.

This is not early. We're less than 6 months away from a full production ramp. LG is a new OLED iPhone supplier. The LG plant in Vietnam is brand new and opened in December 2017. No one ever got fired for having a production line ready before the deadline.

I have no interest in a bigger phone than the X, I owned the 7 Plus and hated it, far too big and heavy and ridiculous really - the bigger screen offered nothing in terms of enjoyment, you adapt to it in about 30 seconds and it no longer looks bigger, you're just holding a massive phone with too much weight.

I bought it purely for the dual cameras, i'll be really really annoyed if Apple starts stripping the normal size of important features.

Make it bigger for people that for whatever reason want that, but don't cut features from the normal size in the process, keep parity across the line and it's fair for everyone.
