I can't believe how conceited Americans are: as has been clearly stated in articles on this very site, it's not called the iPhone 7, it will be the iPhone Pro 4.7" and iPhone Pro 5.5" as reported by reliable sources in Japan. Look at your own articles, specifically ones quoted from Mac Otakara and Mac Fan. Ridiculous how arrogant Americans can be ignoring the rest of the world, overlooking rumors from countries more honest than their own: "Until we hear from the Wall Street Journal / English-speaking source / Apple PR, we're just going to stupidly increment the number every two years! Forget Ming-Chi-Kuo and those reliable Japanese, we know better than foreigners! iPhone was made in the USA!"

News flash: FYI, iPhone 7 is coming *next* year, with all the big design changes, in the 10th anniversary of the iPhone. All we're seeing in 2016 is iPhone SE and iPhone Pro 4.7/5.5.

That's a weird attack on Americans! Also, iPhone 7 is most likely - your Pro (across the board) names are highly unlikely.

Hideous. Steve Jobs would literally not allow this to be released. Like, his tailoring to aesthetics would find this too unappealing. This is shockingly bad. The antennae lines actually look worse, the camera bump actually looks worse. Oh and btw - we removed the convenience of a headphone jack. LMAO, WHAT?

Nah, it's way better than the 6 and 6s - cleaner for a start, camera bump is nicer, position of camera is finally in the right place! - same centre point as corner radius.

I'm liking this a lot. Nice refinements to one of my favorite iPhone designs.

That said, Apple should think about doing these refinements with each upgrade that isn't a brand new design; sort of like how car companies tweak designs annually for 6 to 7 years until they introduce a brand new design.

Middle of July there are still people on here actually believing this will not be the final product. SMH
Yeah,

I agree. There will be iPhones released in September this year, that look like the leaks. The only uncertainties will be the name of the iPhone and whether Apple will release another new iPhone in April/May of 2017.

It looks the different way around though.
Apple will focus on hw updates this year , with a new faster soc, better true tone displays, camera, waterproofing, etc and next year they will focus on material and design.

Another upgrade to skip. Save 1000$ :)

Yeah I have a 6S/128gb and this is truly the first iPhone I'm absolutely content with... Always was something bugging me with my past devices (4/32gb, 4S/64gb, 5S/64gb, 6/64gb). Totally fine for the moment about skipping the next 2-3 upgrades.

Now if only Apple could fix iOS :p

1) normal people don't upgrade from one year to the next. and the SE is even less than a year.
You haven't been in the iPhone forum then, and I was stating that I don't believe that 750 its worth the price in general.

2) how do you know it doesn't have new features? because the phone's case is similar? that doesnt make sense.

I don't, but I can offer my opinion based on the rumors

(i cant believe i have to explain this to staff members/mods on the site...wow)
I can't believe a member doesn't understand a moderator can have an opinion - wow.

I must be the only one who doesn't mind this design. Also there will be camera improvements, could they be using a fish eye lens? Maybe on the iPhone 7 and then on the 7 Plus use the dual camera. Either way I think this will be a good upgrade for those of us who have the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus.

Well, such a thin device only has two sides to talk about so I think it's fair to care what one of them looks like.

I don't care because I always use a case...I'm much more interested in seeing the bottom because of the headphone jack rumors...

The current crop of existing iPhones is very fine indeed. People are happy with them and they work great, are stable and fast. That wasn't the case in the beginning iPhone era.

Think of the iPhone now as the mature product that it is. Like the Macs are. Every improvement in the future will be incremental. Not revolutionary. The end of Moore's law will surely hit the iPhone A chip too.

Now if Apple's new iPhone could just run a real file system, they'd sell billions of them.

Well not really. Only one side is functional, the only time I look at the back of my phone is when I'm cleaning it or if someone is taking a photo of me.

Most likely 90% of you that are bitching about the back of the phone, put your phone in a case. So what is the difference?
If the phone is basically the same dimensions as an iPhone 6, then that would save you needing to buy a new case, especially if you use case that has a battery built in.

Unfortunately that's not going to work due to the camera cutout, which is going to be too small for the new model.

Is that Apple logo glass? Will we have lit Apple logo like MacBook?
The camera and apple logo clearly show the users hand and the floor. The piece for the cut out apple logo is dropped in later and the camera module fits in the hole, it still may have a steel ring inside that bump but i doubt it.
