I showed this article to my mate. I said to him ... "Carl. Please reconsider selling your Apple stock. Watch bands ARE the future. And this shows the investment Apple are putting in to this developing 'technology". I reckon he was bluffing you see. But no. He meant it. "Icahn" he replied. "And by crikey .... I will too!" :)

The article never claims that Apple are making these bands, so your comment seems a bit weird.
Watch straps are a good business though, Google is now making straps too.

Don't you know it's ok for every other corporation to make money except for Apple. Apple exists for the sole purpose of providing forum nerds with their idea of a perfect device what they want for exactly the price that they're willing to pay.

Big fashion players like this are supporting the Apple Watch. The platform is hardly a failure. It just didn't bat .400 like some jerks expects.

At least they are not like the Hermes bands, which cost more than an  watch. $690 for a leather band. Are these from the Wagyu Kobi cows ?

Still wouldn't pay $150 for an  Watch band. For a Vacheron Constantan, yes.  Watch, no.

Even with the stylish bands... this device is a piece of turd. The form factor is tiny, the UI is too basic and lacks decent organization, the navigation is complicated and leads you to second guess yourself while also forgetting where things are located and the overall device physical design looks like a shrunken iPhone 1.0.
