#howtowaste$130 Sorry but so many better things one can spend $130 bucks on unless you are rich, but then I guess you probably have money to waste. Though, donating to a charity still seems like it would make more sense for humanity. Just sayin.

How people choose to spend their money is their own business.
Unless you donate all your spare cash to charity, you're in no position to judge. Especially if you have an iDevice or Mac released in the last 3 years - you could have continued to use a perfectly good older model, or a generic Android/PC, and given your money to the benefit of humanity instead of selfishly buying an unnecessary luxury.

So, you first.

Somebody missed out on a great opportunity to partner with Skittles™.

I am rich, but I do not want anyone to notice that I spend some much money for this so I am just going to ask them to paint it the same white color as the original one... just because I can afford it /s
Psssh. I'm richer and I make sure that everyone notices. Colored AirPods... yawn. So pedestrian. Should be relegated to the poors like you. Wireless earphones? Who would want something everyone can get? Plebeians that's who. My friends and I, your betters if you will, hire out of work Art History majors to listen to our music and whisper it into our ears. I wonder if Colorware will paint my two "earphones"? Of course they will, I'm rich. I will have them paint Carlton in a nice blue tinted carbon fiber and Louise a drab olive since she's getting a beyond her station; thinking her minor in French Impressionism means something.

Yup and probably a bunch of them are on this forum.

When you can buy a back up pair (for work, car, gym bag or wherever or if your first pair break or gift for someone or use the money on something useful) for an extra $29 instead of getting a painted pair kinda seems dumb to me. +$30-$50 then I maybe get the business model. $130 really?
To each their own.

These do look great.
And Apple is going to have a ton of fun with colors on these once they can make enough. I've said it before, but AirPods are a Fortune 500 business and with Beats they might be a Fortune 100 business. Apple is in the process of taking over the headphone market.

300 bucks... for a colour? The sad thing is, there are some people dumb enough to pay that.

Why do you have to blast someone who has a desire for a differently colored device and is willing to pay for it? I'm sure you have some things that I wouldn't like and wouldn't pay a cent for. But I wouldn't call you stupid for liking something that I don't. You sound like a certain politician that hates everything.

I actually don't own an iDevice within the last 3 years but thanks for asking and I'm not doing any of those things above but again thanks for asking. They don't relate at all to getting coloured air pods for almost twice the price as white ones. It would be more like me buying a latte for $5 dollars and paying another $4 dollars for a painted cup. Does that seem like it would be good way to spend money? Also upgrading to a newer device has more value than paying for it to be coloured. You're getting things like better performance features etc.

I do donate to charity again thanks for asking.

I actually think the colouring ipod business is a cool but the pricing seems way ridiculous and a waste of money. Guess I'm not allowed to have an opinion?

guessing you can send yours in and they do it for it instead of needing to buy brand new ones

That forum member wants other members to respond to his negative rhetoric. Add him to your ignore list. It's not worth even responding to someone like that and you have to outsmart him. I don't disagree with you though.

On Topic: I could easily see someone taking advantage of The colored Airpods. If the company is reputable and someone has the money to do so, why not.
