I'll take the white ones, thanks!White for earphones? It's literally the worst colour imaginable. They stand out far too much.
Subtlety is the key, which is why you can never really go wrong with black.
Power in numbers. I can't support hate, and neither can a lot of others. And so far 41 people actually agree with you. Just wow.
It's amazing to me that these guys have been in business for so long considering their range of colours is downright goddamn hideous
Since your comments were made in relation to this article we can assume that your comments refer to the content of this articleI did read the article ... and never said that Apple was increasing the price. Reading is fundamental.
This implies that things like this have happened before and are, well, continuing. To what insanity do you refer? We don't know yet, but, based on the contents of the article, it's safe to assume colour, price, wait time, etc.The insanity continues
So here you've cleared it up: the price. You specifically refer to Apple products having a poor price (to value ratio). The value to price ratio of Apple's products continue to diminish.
They look nice.
You might not call it ColorWare's product, but it is. The AirPods are from Apple, yes, but ColorWave isn't a reseller. The entire reason one would purchase from them, i.e. buy what ColorWave produces, their product, is to get a custom colour. One buys ColorWave disassembly, painting, assembly, and warranty; that's their product.LOL. Who didn't read the article? They buy Apple's Airpods and PAINT them for you. I'd hardly call that ColorWare's product....
Well Dr. Freud, perhaps they're just reacting to this latest over-the-top example of conspicuous consumption. The Big Lie in this life is that consumption can make people happy. I remember the days when Apple claimed to be on the side of people interested in creating things. Times have changed.Putting on my psychologist hat I would deduce that people who protest so wildly about overpriced coloured airpods are negatively criticising them to make themselves feel better about not being able to afford them. For some reason they feel bitter about not being able to stump up the cost. Someone who could, would not feel the need to critique as harshly. It's like they're jealous of a neighbours new car.
Companies place premiums on coloured differentiations all the time. Cars. Furniture. Clothes Etc. It's an extension of personality. If there's a market. And people are willing. Why not. If it makes them happy.
They will... Just like other products (iPods for example) were eventually offered in colors.
At the moment there's no need to since they can't meet the enormous demand just making them in white, and have been quoting 6 weeks delivery since Christmas.
Why does how much money someone is willing to pay for a product have any correlation on their intelligence? Sounds like their paint jobs are done correctly and took a lot of skill to get right. If people find value in that, don't knock their intelligence!300 bucks... for a colour? The sad thing is, there are some people dumb enough to pay that.
Spray tan, whitening cream. Yeah, there's plenty dumb folk to go around.300 bucks... for a colour? The sad thing is, there are some people dumb enough to pay that.
Nope I had it right the first time. They are on TO something, not on something. These will sell and the guys selling them will make an insane ROI.
As soon as Apple starts releasing color versions this service will no longer be attractive to the rich and stupid!
In that case, "Rose Gold by Ive" is different because it is "Ive's Rose Gold",Jony Ive would cry since it's in his next plan to release Rose Gold version this year.
I don't mind people hanging Oral-B brushes out of their head. Or out of their noses. But for some reason, I hardly feel any common sense with it.Putting on my psychologist hat I would deduce that people who protest so wildly about overpriced coloured airpods are negatively criticising them to make themselves feel better about not being able to afford them. For some reason they feel bitter about not being able to stump up the cost. Someone who could, would not feel the need to critique as harshly. It's like they're jealous of a neighbours new car.

Than that makes you extremely closed minded. In this case, it does.
hmmmmm... nah, I'm going to go with dumb...
Exactly.
