I also think the colors are a little feminine too. I would have to go with the black. I really like the metal bezel around it too. Although I would like to see it look like brushed aluminum like the new MB/MBP's.

I'd believe these, except the home button is in such an awkward position. It doesn't even look like a button...

Adding color gives them a good way to show off the new versions, just like the nanos were.
I like the color concept. Might even look at getting one instead of the black one.

I think this one could be real, if apple made the chrome bezel rap around all the buttons they wouldn't have the cracking problem the iphone has now.

I like this design.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm confident this is the new model.

(wishful thinking, mostly)
In the early days of the iPods, Apple did not have the universal doc connector. Now, all but the Shuffle have it. This makes it easy for third party companies to create attachments, holders, cases, etc.

I am wondering if Apple will do the same with the iPhone? If so I would venture to say that the current shape allows for growth of the platform as components shrink and capabilities go up.

The mockup with the bezel seems to keep the same form factor overall.

For me it looks like a Chinese fake (plagiarism). There are lots of fake iPhones in China.

they are computer generated images, there's nothing real about them. If they were designed for "real" copies of the iPhone, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't care that much about having two materials for better reception, they would have a removable battery though, and the all black design is actually too good for a copy.

Salute!

Okay. They are computer generated images of a Chinese fake iPhone then. Just imho.

Valid argument maybe.

they would have a removable battery though, and the all black design is actually too good for a copy.

Where do you see major differences to the "all black design" of the actual iPhone 3G? (Loving my white iPhone (photo).)

Guys... they're real.

My friend's uncle's brother's son who works at Apple says so!

I have no doubt it is real. The chinese will copy anything! I ran into myself a few years ago in Beijing.

Ummmmm ... There are mockups that we're labeled as mockups in another thread. The top all-black one is the iPhone Nano mockup. None of which are influenced by any actual Apple sources.

Notice that the "home" button doesn't seem to have a depression in these pictures. On a phone with no buttons, it is crucial to have a tactile way to find the home button. After 2 generations, I highly doubt that Apple would abandon that feature.

The white on the bottom looks so ugly. I doubt they'd offer all those colors.

Agreed. They are definitely not Apple's style. And I don't see them going back to the two piece backing.

If anything they'll be developing a more durable back cover that still allows the radio signals through.

here's the text at the top of the pics

Not June 8, such as the, iPhone third-generation 19 official design were leaked!
The third generation of iPhone pictures were leaked out! Two versions, for high-end black, almost looks like the second generation, 32G capacity. Is the color of the low-end, with almost the appearance of the first generation, 16G capacity. Disclosed before the forums all the text on the reverse side of silver, in these pictures are all true.

Sweet, I like how it floats in mid air, must be a new app that we don't have yet.

I honestly don't think Apple would dare to release colours (just like the nano's) for their phone because it's a damn smart phone, not a toy. It's supposed to look elegant and professional, not like a damn rainbow.

By this logic, 99% of the App Store shouldn't exist either. I really don't think Apple is going for the "professional" look or is even marketing this phone towards the professional community. Just look at all the commercials they have released; things like urbanspoon and shazaam (very gimmicky apps).

Exactly - The argument doesnt work - See the US Army's interest in buying a shedload and making custom apps. Schiller or other is likely to show increased uptake in the Fortune 500 - personal or Enterprise level.

If you want Professional, your IT gets black phones. The apps on the phone and other parameters can be fairly easily locked down through the Enterprise software Apple provides.
